What you'll do:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in a collaborative, feedback-rich environment.
Embrace and champion a culture of coaching—reviewing talk tracks, emails, and messaging strategies regularly.
Partner closely with a hands-on VP who leads alongside managers—not from the sidelines.
Own and improve prospecting workflows and outbound campaigns designed to target specific customer profiles, and demonstrating creativity in prospecting.
Ensure consistent execution and follow-through on campaign objectives, with tight attention to detail.
Foster a culture of curiosity and accountability—encouraging your team to take ownership, but never work in silos.
Provide regular, actionable feedback to your team—and ask for feedback and new challenges from your leadership.
Monitor and drive daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to ensure performance alignment and goal attainment.
Ensure the team effectively communicates the Absorb value proposition to new prospects.
Guide the team in qualifying outbound leads against defined criteria to meet pipeline goals and drive overall sales success.
Partner with leadership to support a growing organization by scaling processes, driving operational efficiencies, and building a high-performing team capable of supporting future growth.
Develop and execute strategic call plans and account plans, collaborating with the account team for collective success.
What you'll bring:
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years of experience in a related sales role, with at least 1-2 years in a management/coaching position.
Proven ability to lead a team, demonstrating strong motivational and coaching skills.
Passion for outbound selling, cold calling, and helping reps get better every day.
Intellectual curiosity, humility, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Welcomes feedback, acts on it thoughtfully, leads with integrity/accountability/transparency.
High coachability and a strong respect for leadership collaboration.
Track record of balancing execution with strategic thinking. Proactive approach managing, asking for help, and taking initiative.
Detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-through.
Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities can shift.
Proficient in conducting detailed data analyses and using metrics to drive business results.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interested in long-term career opportunities in SaaS sales.
Preferred Requirements
Familiarity with Sales Engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, Salesforce, Gong, 6sense)
Familiarity with Sales Prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, UserGems, Lusha, Cognism)
Understanding of sales process and qualifying such as MEDDPICC, BANT, SPIN, Challenger
