You will coordinate shipments end to end, book carriers, track consignments, and sort out the problems that appear mid-transit. When something goes wrong at 3pm, you're the person who already has a plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Book and schedule shipments with carriers and freight partners
- Track consignments and proactively flag delays
- Resolve delivery exceptions, damages, and shortages
- Maintain shipping documentation and delivery records
- Report on carrier performance and delivery costs
What You'll Need
- Experience in logistics, freight, shipping, or supply chain coordination
- Experience with a WMS, TMS, or ERP system
- Confident with spreadsheets for tracking and reporting
- Calm problem-solving when shipments go wrong
- A quiet home workspace and stable fibre connection
Nice to Have
- Experience with UK or EU freight and customs documentation
- Familiarity with SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP
- Experience coordinating multi-carrier networks
What's on Offer
- R29 000 – R32 000 per month, paid monthly
- 100% remote — work from anywhere in South Africa
- 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday
