Instructure is a premier educational technology company dedicated to elevating student success, amplifying the power of teaching, and inspiring everyone to learn together. Founded in 2008 by two graduate students, the company completely disrupted the clunky, legacy Learning Management System (LMS) market by building Canvas—a highly intuitive, cloud-native platform born on AWS. Under the hood, the Instructure Learning Platform goes far beyond traditional coursework management; it encompasses a massive suite of integrated tools including Canvas LMS, Mastery (assessment), Elevate (analytics), and Impact (adoption tracking). Their primary target audience spans thousands of global institutions, ranging from massive K-12 school districts to prestigious Ivy League universities and fast-growing corporate training environments. What sets Instructure apart in the fiercely competitive EdTech space is its unwavering commitment to an open, extensible architecture—boasting a robust API and strict LTI standard compliance that allows educators to seamlessly plug in thousands of third-party apps—combined with a relentless focus on user experience (UX) that consistently drives the highest adoption rates among faculty and students worldwide.
