You will keep a broker or insurer book in good order: issuing policies, processing adjustments, and ensuring renewals are sent out on time so nothing lapses by accident. This role suits someone who is accurate and prefers a well-run book.
You will work from home during UK time (09:00-17:00), which translates to SAST (11:00-19:00). You will receive equipment guidance, a proper induction, and have a manager available for contact throughout the day. This is a permanent role, not a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue new policies, endorsements, and mid-term adjustments
- Prepare and send renewal invitations ahead of expiry dates
- Maintain accurate policy and client records
- Chase outstanding documentation and premiums
- Support brokers with quotes and market submissions
- Produce book reports for the account manager
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of experience in insurance or policy administration
- Experience with a broking or policy system such as Acturis, Open GI, or similar
- Strong accuracy with policy wordings, dates, and premiums
- Clear written English for client and insurer correspondence
- Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
Nice to Have
- Exposure to both commercial and personal lines
- Progress towards a Cert CII qualification
- Familiarity with FCA conduct requirements
