Growth Marketing Manager, Cloud Native

About the role

Percona is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own growth for our Cloud Native (Kubernetes) product line: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB Kubernetes Operators, along with our broader cloud-native product and partnership ecosystem. You will find and prove out the channels that bring qualified buyers to Cloud Native, then scale what works, working closely with Product Marketing, GTM, and the wider Cloud Native team.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with a high degree of ownership. You won't inherit a proven playbook. You'll build one, through structured, measurable experimentation rather than running channels on autopilot.

What you'll do

• Run structured channel tests. Design and execute experiments across partnered webinars, paid search, community and influencer outreach, and other channels, each with a clear hypothesis, budget, and success metric.

• Own partnered webinars end to end. Identify partners, structure the offer, drive registration campaigns, and track pipeline impact.

• Manage paid channels. Run and optimize paid search and other paid channels as they prove out, owning budget, targeting, and creative iteration.

• Build community and influencer outreach. Identify and engage credible voices in the Kubernetes and open source database community who can extend our reach.

• Set up tracking so every test has a clear read on cost, engagement, and pipeline contribution.

• Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams.

What you'll bring

• Experience in tech marketing for developers audience is a plus

• Experience with performance marketing, paid channels, or campaign management.

• A data-driven mindset. Form a hypothesis, test it, and improve based on the results.

• Genuine curiosity about growth channels and how they perform differently for technical, open source audiences.

• Comfort owning a budget and being accountable for what it returns.

• Clear written and verbal communication, especially when reporting results that aren't what you hoped for.
