Graphic Designer (Logo & Visual Identity) – Freelance for Tendem Project

Mindrift is seeking a versatile, highly skilled Graphic Designer with expertise in logo design and visual identity to contribute to the Tendem project. This role involves creating high-quality visual assets for real-world use cases, applying skills in branding, typography, and layout design to transform ideas into polished creative assets.

This is a part-time remote opportunity tailored for creative professionals with hands-on experience in visual communications, layout design, and diverse marketing materials.

The Role

As a Freelance Graphic Designer, you’ll handle a variety of visual design tasks, with a focus on logo design, brand identity, and visual concept development. Responsibilities include layouts, infographics, social media templates, one-pagers, and other marketing assets. The ideal candidate can translate brand concepts into clear, distinctive visual solutions while maintaining consistency across formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design distinctive, professional logos and visual identity concepts based on brand requirements and creative briefs.
• Develop multiple logo directions using conceptual thinking to create effective visual symbols and systems.
• Apply branding principles across assets to ensure a consistent and recognizable visual identity.
• Create clean layouts, modern infographics, and clear visual hierarchies for readable and engaging content.
• Design reusable templates for social media, marketing materials, and impactful one-pagers.
• Elevate materials through advanced typography, grid systems, and thoughtful composition.
• Transform raw data and concepts into polished visual assets tailored to marketing and communication goals.
• Enforce design quality standards through verification of visual alignment, color usage, and layout consistency.

This is project-based freelance work with variable task availability. You may be invited to multiple projects based on your profile and opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1-2 years in graphic design, digital design, or visual communications.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields is a plus.
• Portfolio: Must demonstrate professional graphic design work, including logo design, branding, and visual identity projects. Examples of social media graphics, marketing collateral, infographics, and one-pagers are highly valued.
• Skills: Strong grasp of typography, visual composition, color, and grid systems. Adaptable, fast-paced, and detail-oriented approach required.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for diverse visual tasks.

Additional Requirements: Self-directed work ethic, English proficiency (Upper-intermediate/B2 or higher), and a portfolio link with relevant graphic design cases.

Project Time Expectations

Tasks require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project scope.

Compensation

Earnings range up to $34 per hour, varying by project complexity and expertise.
