The Director of Content owns Bizee's content program end-to-end: the strategy, the editorial quality bar, the production systems, and the team. This role exists to make Bizee's content work as an ecosystem. Editorial, social, email, and video should feed each other, with every asset built to travel across channels rather than live in one. It is both a strategy role and a building role. You will set the company-wide content strategy and the integrated calendar, own the distribution architecture that decides how content moves and gets repurposed, and lead the long-form and narrative work that builds Bizee's authority with Everyday Entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own the company-wide content strategy: pillars, themes, seasonal plans, and the integrated content calendar that gives visibility across editorial, social, email, video, and campaigns
- Set and hold the editorial quality bar across all written output: voice, tone, readability, and writing craft
- Own long-form and narrative content, including research reports, founder stories, and editorial features, and the content assets program that turns them into deployable guides, reports, and lead magnets
- Own content distribution and repurposing across owned channels, and set the strategic direction for social, organic video, and YouTube within which channel owners execute
- Own brand email as a content channel, including newsletter and brand-driven sends, and develop campaign email content against briefs from campaign owners
- Lead content-driven campaigns end-to-end and serve as the content strategy and production lead on PMM-initiated and brand-initiated campaigns
- Own content operations: production workflows, process efficiency, and the integration of AI and automation tools to improve how content gets made and scaled
- Define and own content KPIs across channels, and use performance data to inform strategy and prioritization
- Manage and grow Bizee's content team, and manage the contractor writer network
What This Role Does Not Own
- Technical SEO
- Lifecycle email strategy and execution
- Paid media creative and buying
- Product marketing copy and product-adjacent content
- Brand strategy, brand identity, and authorship of brand voice and tone (this role applies and enforces the voice; it does not define it)
- PR strategy and earned media positioning (this role owns the content production behind it)
- Creator deliverable management, contract asset utilization, and NIL activation
- Partner relationship management and contract negotiation
Requirements
- 8+ years of content experience spanning multiple disciplines (editorial, social, email, video) at a digital-first or platform company
- Demonstrated experience building a company-wide content strategy: pillars, seasonal planning, integrated calendars, and distribution architecture
- Experience managing a content team and building a content function, not just running one
- Strong editorial judgment and hands-on writing and editing ability, with experience producing long-form narrative or research-driven content
- Channel strategy experience across social and video, including YouTube programming and organic audience growth
- Comfort with content operations: workflow design, AI tool integration, and automation for production at scale
- Data-informed approach: experience defining KPIs and using performance data to shape strategy and prioritization

Bizee
View Company ProfileBizee is the premier, enterprise-grade business formation infrastructure platform, corporate compliance pioneer, and entrepreneurial enablement powerhouse engineered to operate as the definitive, high-velocity company launching, entity governance, and registered agent layer for small business owners, freelancers, and digital startups nationwide. The company completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern corporate administration—where new founders face highly opaque state filing procedures, hidden service fees, fragmented legal document management, and regular compliance penalty risks—by deploying an advanced, zero-dollar baseline creation matrix. Moving far beyond traditional, passive legal consultancies or detached documentation templates, Bizee natively unifies instant LLC, C-Corp, and S-Corp formation mechanics, automated lifetime compliance dashboard alerting (covering annual reports and franchise tax deadlines), custom EIN and tax identification acquisition, and free first-year registered agent provisioning into a single high-availability digital workspace. Empowering more than 1 million businesses across all 50 US states to establish and maintain legal operations, the platform handles complex state-level bureaucratic variations with production-hardened precision. Under the hood, its sophisticated technical core deploys real-time tracking linkages into state division portals, secure distributed database architectures for sensitive entity metadata, and automated filing processing pipelines optimized to handle thousands of parallel registrations daily. What sets Bizee apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing slow, expensive legacy incorporation legal loops with absolute transparency and entrepreneurial momentum; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive regulatory data integration and immediate storefront legal protection, the firm remains the definitive cornerstone of modern automated business lifecycle scaling.
