Customer Onboarding Specialist (Remote, UK-Based Employer)

You will own the first 30 days of a UK company’s new customers — ensuring setup is done right, expectations are set, and no customer is left wondering what happens next.

A good fit if you enjoy guiding people through something new, like a clear checklist, and want a long-term career with a UK business from home in South Africa.

Key responsibilities:

• Run welcome and setup calls with new customers
• Guide customers through account configuration and first use
• Track onboarding progress and chase outstanding steps
• Prepare onboarding documentation and short how-to guides
• Hand completed accounts to the support or success team
• Gather feedback and flag common sticking points

What you'll need:

• Experience in onboarding, customer success, training, or account support
• Confident running video calls and explaining things simply
• Experience with a CRM or customer platform
• Strong written and spoken English and a well-organized approach
• A reliable fibre connection, a working laptop, and a quiet place to work

Nice to have:

• Experience onboarding customers onto a SaaS product
• Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Intercom, or Notion
• Experience building templates or onboarding checklists
