Catalog & Content Operations Lead

Fresh Prints is about to undergo the biggest catalog shift in its company history. The focus is transitioning from selling custom apparel to groups (chapters, teams, clubs) to building a catalog where every product and design has its own shoppable page. Over the next year, the catalog will grow roughly 100x, from a few hundred listings to tens of thousands of individual product pages.

This role involves building the foundational systems for this massive scale-up, including the publishing pipeline, QA process, and a team of three to manage it effectively. This is not a maintenance job—you’ll be creating systems from the ground up, setting the stage for a 100x scale-up from day one.

What You’ll Own

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Manage and mentor a team of three, setting clear expectations for quality, pace, and ownership
• Delegate real ownership to your team rather than being the single point of failure for every workflow
• Identify and address capacity problems, process problems, and performance problems appropriately

Project & Production Management

• Own the production calendar for launches, campaigns, catalog updates, and ad hoc requests
• Convert incoming requests into defined scope, owners, deadlines, and QA checkpoints
• Forecast team capacity, flag conflicts before deadlines are at risk, and negotiate scope when priorities collide

Asset & Catalog Quality

• Oversee product publishing across all product lines, ensuring accurate metadata and imagery before anything goes live
• Design and scale the QA process to catch errors before they reach the live site as the catalog grows to tens of thousands of listings
• Document workflows clearly so the team doesn’t rely on any one person’s memory

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Ensure product work moves smoothly across departments on schedule, with risks flagged early and clear paths forward for any blockages

Who You Are

• You love building systems and turning ad hoc processes into documented, repeatable workflows
• You’re scrappy under pressure, able to sketch out trackers on the spot or jump into work yourself to prevent delays
• You have a deep understanding of product data and are comfortable with a CMS or PIM platform, knowing how data structures work beyond just the interface
• You can manage five moving projects and competing deadlines simultaneously without anything slipping through the cracks
• You’re direct—providing feedback to teammates promptly and openly acknowledging your own shortcomings
• You’re detail-oriented and notice issues like colorway inconsistencies before customers do

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience leading or co-leading a team, with genuine ownership of people and their output
• A track record of managing projects against hard deadlines with multiple contributors
• A track record of building or scaling a QA process for content or product output at high volume
• Hands-on fluency with a CMS or PIM platform, understanding the underlying data structure
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (familiarity with Illustrator is a plus)

Strong differentiator, not required: experience with scripted or automated production workflows in Photoshop, or comfort building lightweight tools using AI, no-code platforms, or basic scripting.
