Brief Overview

This role builds and sends member campaigns in Braze against approved briefs, accurately and on schedule. It is the delivery capacity of the campaign production team, and sits within the approved individual contributor team under the Manager, Campaign Production and Platform.

Work is performed under general guidance and prepared for sign-off by the Digital Marketing Manager. The role carries first-pass QA on every send, including segments where PHI is handled, so that what reaches final sign-off is already correct rather than merely complete.

Core Responsibilities

What the role owns

  • Campaign build and audience segmentation in Braze against an approved brief
  • First-pass QA of every send, including segments where PHI is handled, before it goes for sign-off
  • Maintaining send configurations and audience setups
  • Flagging brief ambiguities and data issues before build rather than after

How success is measured

  • On-time build completion and first-pass QA accuracy across assigned sends (primary measurable output)
  • Zero PHI and accessibility defects passed to final sign-off
  • Build throughput against the production queue
  • Accuracy of send configurations and audience setups

What the role does not own

  • Scope boundaries are explicit so accountability is single-owned and hand-offs are clean.
  • Content drafting or CMS input — Content Manager, Consumer Marketing
  • The platforms themselves — Manager, Campaign Production and Platform
  • Campaign strategy or priority — the account owners brief and approve
  • Final QA sign-off and escalation — Digital Marketing Manager

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in email or campaign production, marketing operations, or a comparable execution role
  • Working knowledge of an enterprise email or lifecycle platform; Braze experience is an advantage
  • Accuracy under deadline, with a demonstrated QA habit rather than a reliance on downstream checking
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and list handling
  • Comfort working with regulated data and following defined handling procedures
  • Willingness to raise problems early

Preferred

  • Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience
  • HTML and email template familiarity
  • Accessibility standards for email
  • Experience in a shared-capacity or ticketed production environment
