Call Centre Agent (Remote, UK-Based Employer)

You'll own inbound and outbound calls for a UK customer base, resolving queries on the first contact.

Role overview: You will be the voice of a UK business on the phone. You will handle a steady flow of customer calls, log every interaction, and ensure each caller leaves with an answer or a clear next step. Full training on the client's systems and products is provided in your first weeks. You will work UK hours, 09:00–17:00 UK (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday.

You will join the client's existing team from day one, with a named manager in the UK, regular check-ins over video call, and clear goals so you always know how you are performing.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls about orders, accounts, and service queries
• Make scheduled outbound follow-up calls
• Log every call accurately in the CRM
• Resolve issues on the first call where possible and escalate the rest
• Meet call quality and response-time targets

What you'll need:

• At least 1 year in a call centre or phone-based customer service role
• Experience logging calls in a CRM or ticketing system such as Salesforce or Zendesk
• Clear spoken and written English suited to UK customers
• Reliable home internet, a headset, and a quiet workspace
• Availability for UK hours, Monday to Friday

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting UK customers
• Familiarity with telephony platforms such as RingCentral or Aircall
