How you’ll make a huge impact here – and on your career:

This is your chance to step into the competitive and lucrative world of technology sales. Here, you'll gain experience selling to senior-level execs in finance across a wide array of industries. You’ll operate across North America, mentored by experienced Versapay salespeople with 5–15+ years of crushing quotas at leading tech companies.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Versapay in the customer value journey, qualifying contacted customers for continued engagement with our sales teams. Evaluate their understanding of the problems Versapay solves and their readiness to address these issues.
  • Proactively prospect new potential customers via phone, email, and social media, aiming to schedule deeper discovery calls for the sales team.
  • Join a team invested in your future, receiving training and guidance on building your career path. Gain exposure to teams across the business, including Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Enablement, and Marketing.
  • Research accounts, contacts, and key players to generate buying interest through lead nurturing, emails, and collateral creation. Successfully manage and overcome objections.
  • Document success in Salesforce Lightning CRM and ensure marketing automation data is complete and up-to-date.
  • Learn, teach others, and advance within the sales organization by building pipeline, gaining exposure to all aspects of a sales cycle, and improving lead quality through collaboration and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation programs from planning to data entry and post-follow-up tracking. Assist with tradeshow/event logistics and support when possible.
  • Contribute to Versapay’s culture by making it a great place to learn, grow, and accelerate careers. Your voice matters, and the Sales team always tests and tries new approaches.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or equivalent sales role.
  • A proven track record of generating an outbound pipeline from scratch, with cold calls, cold emails, social selling, and creative prospecting being second nature.
  • Skilled multi-threading, engaging multiple stakeholders across an account simultaneously, mapping buying committees, and building champions at every organizational level.
  • Consistently hit or exceeded outbound-specific metrics, achieving 90%+ quota attainment in meetings booked, pipeline generated, or sequences launched.
  • Naturally curious and confident, asking sharp questions, listening actively, and tailoring messages to different personas, from a CFO to a Head of Procurement.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding that every prospect has unique problems, and connecting their pain points to Versapay’s solutions.
  • Great energy that people gravitate toward, with strong written and verbal communication skills that stand out in crowded inboxes or on cold calls.
  • A bias toward action, actively seeking out pipeline rather than waiting for inbound leads.
  • Thrives in fast-moving, evolving environments, adapting approaches without losing momentum.
  • Collaborative and coachable, partnering closely with Account Executives on account and territory planning, and raising the bar for SDRs.
  • Proficient with sales tools like Gong, Salesforce, or Sales Navigator, and skilled at building and optimizing converting sequences.
  • Bonus: Experience selling into the office of the CFO is a significant plus.

Versapay (operating under versapay.com) is the premier, enterprise-grade Collaborative Accounts Receivable (AR) pioneer, B2B payment network innovator, and cash flow optimization powerhouse engineered to operate as the definitive, high-velocity invoice presentation, collections automation, and merchant processing layer for mid-market and enterprise organizations globally. The company completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern corporate finance operations—where accounting teams lose immense capital momentum to manual billing processes, fragmented customer communication silos, slow dispute resolution lifecycles, and delayed cash application workflows—by deploying an advanced, cloud-native collaborative AR network. Moving far beyond traditional, passive legacy invoicing modules or rigid accounting spreadsheets, Versapay natively unifies a self-service customer payment portal, automated collections workflows, intelligent AI-powered cash application engines, and multi-channel payment acceptance pipelines into a single high-availability workspace. Powering over $60 billion in annual transaction volume and matching more than 1 million active buyers and sellers across its decentralized network, the platform empowers financial leaders to compress Day Sales Outstanding (DSO), eliminate administrative overhead, and maximize working capital efficiency with production-hardened precision. Backed by elite institutional technology investors including Great Hill Partners, the platform orchestrates deep ERP integration bridges into systems like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, and Oracle. Under the hood, its sophisticated technical core deploys secure, high-concurrency ledger ingestion channels, automated optical character recognition (OCR) remittance parsing, and predictive payment-matching algorithms designed to withstand rigorous financial audits. What sets Versapay apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing standard, disjointed collections pipelines with absolute transparency and cash flow velocity; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive transaction processing and real-time collaborative accounting surfaces, the firm remains the definitive cornerstone of modern automated B2B FinTech transformation.
