Acute Care Registered Nurse
Job Description
As an Acute Care Registered Nurse on Imagine’s acute care team, you will be part of a team focused on delivering acute virtual care to patients in markets nationwide.
In the role of an Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will:
- Provide comprehensive, professional, and proactive virtual acute care for medically complex pediatric patients
- Utilize clinical knowledge and expertise in triaging and nursing assessments to deliver safe patient care via telehealth platforms
- Execute systematic clinical triage protocols to determine patient disposition for acute illnesses (i.e., call 911, refer to ED/ER, provider or nurse visit with home care advice)
- Efficiently navigate and operate multiple software platforms simultaneously (EMR, telehealth portals, triage protocol system, Microsoft products, and communication tools) while providing real-time patient care
- Champion and deliver patient and family-centered care across all interactions
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity as the ability to work with culturally diverse populations and seek out additional resources when needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and family members to effectively plan and implement care
- Support organizational goals and maintain professional standards aligning to the mission, vision, and values of Imagine Pediatrics
- Perform other duties as needed
How You Qualify & What You Bring:
First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric healthcare and creating a world where every child with special healthcare needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:
- A bachelor’s in nursing from an accredited university required
- A Multistate Compact Licensed RN required
- Bilingual in English & Spanish required
- 4+ years of experience in pediatric nursing required
- 1-2 years of experience in a Pediatric ED/Urgent Care preferred
- Virtual care experience preferred
