Summary:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager for the Kansas City/Wichita area will reside in or near Kansas City/Wichita. This role involves driving adoption of Calyxo’s CVAC technology among physicians while meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas. Responsibilities include communicating the value of Calyxo’s products, qualifying and training accounts, and ensuring high adoption rates. The ideal candidate must be disciplined, experienced in product demonstrations, comfortable with frequent travel, and capable of generating new sales leads. Strong communication skills and fieldwork organization are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota for the defined territory.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly and quarterly territory plan outlining sales objectives and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide monthly forecasts for the defined area.
  • Effectively communicate Calyxo’s value proposition to customers.
  • Qualify, train, assess, and develop accounts to integrate Calyxo products into their kidney stone practices, aiming for high adoption rates.
  • Communicate market conditions and recommend improvements to commercial processes.
  • Collaborate with Professional Education to deliver clinical and training support to physicians.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region.
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Manager, Sales team, and Marketing team to identify and prioritize high-value customers.
  • Work with the Customer Service team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure all sales reporting forms are completed and submitted on time in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Finance team.
  • Support resolution of product complaints and safety issues.
  • Proactively support organizational goals, policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and FDA regulations, including compliance with Calyxo’s Customer Relationship and Sunshine Act policies.
  • Maintain a professional image with physicians, consultants, suppliers, and teammates.
  • Establish and maintain credentials (e.g., RepTrax, Vendormate) to access hospitals and medical facilities.
  • Manage travel and expenses within approved budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, respect, transparency, ethics, efficiency, high achievement, and fun.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of outside sales or sales management experience; medical device experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of over-delivering revenue versus sales plans.
  • Proficient in navigating and accelerating hospital and ASC product approval processes.
  • Operating room experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of urology and urology products and strong relationships with local urologists highly desired.
  • Successful track record of launching new and disruptive technologies and expertise in complex reimbursement environments.
  • Understanding of kidney stone treatment algorithms preferred.
  • Compliance with relevant vaccination county, state, and federal rules.
