Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Technical Solutions Lead to join our core centralized Customer Experience collective in a full-time remote capacity across the United States. Operating as a critical cross-functional anchor traversing our pre-sales and post-sales technical operations pipelines, you will step up to claim true individual strategic and operational accountability for directing technical engagements across the full customer lifecycle. Shifting completely away from routine script execution, basic checklist compliance monitoring, or passive helpdesk queue triage, you will operate as a principal security solutions architect—partnering face-to-face with enterprise Procurement officers, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), and application development heads across our Commercial and Field Accounts. This position requires a cybersecurity industry veteran with 5+ years of customer-facing engineering depth who scopes complex technical deployments fluidly natively using Cybersecurity parameters, guides cross-functional technical onboarding tracks smoothly natively using enterprise data tracking models, and handles intricate technical escalations confidently inside fast-paced, high-volume environment frames.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Pre-Sales Technical Leadership: Lead all technical pre-sales engagements across high-value prospective clients, heading deep discovery calls, executing rigorous operational requirements scoping, and drafting scalable crowdsourced security solution architectures cleanly natively utilizing Cybersecurity parameters.
- Tailored Technical Product Demonstrations: Formulate, design, and deliver high-fidelity product demonstrations, customized proof-of-concepts, and detailed technical presentations that articulate abstract security value vectors into clear corporate business outcomes.
- Post-Sales Program Deployment Oversight: Provide authoritative technical guidance, architectural templates, and operational oversight to Technical Engagement Managers, unbottlenecking deployment roadblocks to ensure smooth corporate client onboarding.
- Complex Technical Escalation Governance: Intercept, track, isolate, and resolve high-severity technical escalations arising from internal customer-facing pods, restoring system integrity and preserving client satisfaction baselines.
- Product and Engineering Feedback Synthesis: Act as a primary operational bridge, translating frontline enterprise user pain points, client feature requests, and perceived technical platform gaps directly into scannable requirements files for Product and Engineering development cells.
- Omni-Channel Enablement Sourcing: Partner closely across Sales enablement, Partner networks, and Marketing units to author highly technical whitepapers, architectural best-practice playbooks, and standardized enablement training collateral.
- Landscape and Competitive Analysis: Maintain expert-tier domain command regarding the offensive security market, tracking competing tools, automated scanning limits, and evolving hacker community methodologies to keep Bugcrowd positioned as the definitive category leader.
- Pristine Data and CRM Hygiene: Record, monitor, and log full-cycle discovery variables and customer solution plans inside enterprise tracking frameworks, ensuring transparent scannable clarity for account managers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of verified professional history running advanced customer-facing technical engineering, distributed solutions architecture, cybersecurity sales engineering, technical security program management, or technology risk consulting.
- Mandatory Defensive Domain Experience: Proven, authoritative technical expertise operating within the offensive security domain, demonstrating extensive hands-on history executing or managing Penetration Testing (Pen-testing) models, Red Teaming exercises, or crowdsourced bug-bounty architectures.
- Expert-tier capability translating non-deterministic security testing data, explaining vulnerability impact logs, and building corporate scoping templates natively utilizing Cybersecurity guidelines.
- Practical operational familiarity organizing enterprise project plans, tracking deployment milestones, and building technical document repositories natively using standard project management tools and CRM registries.
- Proven track record successfully architecting, presenting, and defending multi-stakeholder technical solutions before enterprise-level technical audiences and executive corporate boards.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication traits in business-fluent English, enabling absolute confidence and persuasive consultative influence when navigating fast-paced commercial sales cycles.
- High personal accountability, exceptional meticulous attention to detail, and a naturally collaborative mindset that thrives when leading cross-functional alignment initiatives without working in a silo.
- Location Context: Position open to qualified solutions engineering leaders based permanently and resident within the United States to operate under a 100% work-from-home remote framework.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior commercial solutions history operating explicitly within specialized industry verticals such as high-transaction Financial Services, highly regulated Healthcare systems, or massive scale E-commerce logistics hubs.
- Possession of a formal university Bachelor or Master degree in a technical or quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology) or equivalent practical career field validation.
- Direct professional background managing, mentoring, or scaling technical support staff or cross-functional technical engagement teams.
- An outcome-driven personal philosophy rooted in high operational curiosity, a keen enthusiasm for crowdsourced hacker ingenuity, and an intense passion for building solutions that help great companies defeat digital threat actors.
What We Offer
- Vetted United States Tech Salaried Blueprint: An highly competitive full-time national base salary range structured transparently between $102,400 and $140,800 USD per year, calibrated precisely to evaluate your technical solutions authority and offensive security background depth, supplemented by lucrative discretionary bonus rewards or uncapped sales commission structures.
- The exceptional professional canvas to claim a foundational, cross-cutting technical leadership seat where your architecture choices directly empower a global alliance of hackers to protect global brands.
- Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a 100% remote layout across America, complete scheduling trust, and zero physical geographic office commuting friction out of any state.
- Integration into an intensely supportive, customer-fueled workspace that actively cultivates diversity and values unique individual life backgrounds (uniting musicians, adventure junkies, nature lovers, parents, and cycling enthusiasts into an internal corporate family).
