About SpaceX & Starlink: SpaceX is a premier, internationally recognized aerospace giant, hardware manufacturing trailblazer, and space technology innovator founded under the fundamental belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars and enabling human life on Mars is infinitely more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX actively engineers the absolute cutting-edge technologies to make this multi-planetary vision possible. Standing as one of our most disruptive commercial achievements, Starlink is a revolutionary low-Earth orbit satellite constellation delivering low-latency, high-speed broadband internet across the globe. Bringing an unprecedented opportunity to significantly improve remote infrastructure, Starlink is rapidly expanding access to high-speed internet for rural, suburban, and traditionally underserved communities across the United States. Driven by an execution-focused, high-hustle corporate culture that values extreme meritocracy, individual accountability, and bold experimentation, the firm provides high-agency growth operators with an uncompromised remote canvas to leverage state-of-the-art market development frameworks, manipulate complex regional logistics, and deploy high-performing subscriber acquisition engines safely across the United States.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Starlink Growth Lead to join our core centralized Growth Team in a full-time remote capacity covering the Midwest region, with primary location anchors stationed out of Ohio. Operating as the local market owner and designated Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for consumer subscriber growth across the territory of Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for scaling brand adoption and expanding broadband access to households and communities. Shifting completely away from routine passive lead routing, basic desk-bound administrative logging, or template copy writing, you will run an intense field-based market deployment cycle—identifying, evaluating, and securing custom multi-tier distribution channels from scratch. This position requires an execution-focused consumer technology or telecom closer with 2+ years of background who captures new business channels fluidly natively using Lead Generation strategies, coordinates regional events and grassroots marketing programs smoothly natively using Sales Representative playbooks, and commands high-converting B2B contract negotiations confidently under aggressive regional quotas.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Consumer Subscriber Growth Ownership: Formulate, design, and execute the comprehensive local growth strategy and outreach framework for Starlink across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, taking absolute ownership for meeting and exceeding ambitious subscriber acquisition targets cleanly natively utilizing Lead Generation methodologies.
- Multi-Tier Distribution Channel Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and establish high-signal customer acquisition pipelines, partnering face-to-face with local internet service providers (ISPs), public utilities, regional retailers, local hardware installers, real estate groups, and community organizations.
- End-to-End Commercial Deal Negotiation: Lead regional business development motions independently from initial opportunity identification through commercial structuring, closing legal agreements, and coordinating cross-functional partner launches natively leveraging Sales Representative best practices.
- Local Brand Visibility and Grassroots Marketing: Plan, organize, and execute robust field marketing initiatives, community activations, rural trade shows, retail pop-ups, and grassroots awareness campaigns to expand Starlink visual footprint throughout the region.
- Actionable Product and Pricing Sourcing: Collect, synthesize, and package frontline partner and customer feedback loops, delivering structured market intelligence back to central product steering blocks to refine future pricing, tiers, and hardware packages.
- Funnel Metrics Analytics and ROI Tracking: Monitor and manage subscriber acquisition performance, auditing partner channel productivity indices, sign-up conversion metrics, and campaign budget spend to deliver clear data dashboards regarding growth ROI.
- Cross-Functional Strategic Realignment: Partner in lockstep with distributed Sales, Product Management, Marketing Operations, Hardware Engineering, and Finance cells to deploy scalable regional growth initiatives without communication bottlenecks.
- High-Agility Growth Piloting: Design and execute low-overhead market pilots and user acquisition experiments, testing creative non-traditional approaches to rapidly identify high-yielding regional distribution networks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of a formal university Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field of study.
- A minimum of 2 years of verified professional history running advanced business development, partnership cultivation, commercial sales, regional growth engineering, operations consulting, or high-velocity brand marketing.
- Expert-tier capability mapping out target market niches, tracking sales pipeline progression, and optimizing outreach channels natively utilizing Lead Generation frameworks.
- Practical operational familiarity organizing community trade events, handling client presentations, and managing consumer negotiations natively using Sales Representative playbooks.
- Uncompromised Travel Mobility Profile: Possession of a valid driver license and a complete, absolute willingness to operate in the field, traveling approximately 75% or more of the time to interface with customers and travel across SpaceX facilities.
- Regulatory Sourcing Requirement (ITAR Compliance): To conform to strict U.S. Government export regulations and national security protocols, applicants must be verified as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

- Deep, authoritative understanding of consumer purchasing behavior, internet accessibility obstacles, and localized geographical nuances inside rural areas within the Midwest region.
- An outcome-driven personal philosophy rooted in immense personal hustle, a self-managing operator mindset that thrives under ambiguity, and an intense passion for building communication networks that bring internet access to those who need it most.
