Want to know if you're a match for this job?
At Roadrunner, we’re replacing the outdated CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software that Sales teams have struggled with for years. We’re building a new agentic stack called PQA (Prompt, Quote, Approve), designed for the enterprise, on a data model built for modern pricing workflows.
Founded by second-time founders with successful exits and backed by Kleiner Perkins, our team includes engineers from top-tier companies like Snowflake, Databricks, Citadel, Meta, Robinhood, and Brex. We’re based in San Francisco and are in the early stages of growth.
What you’ll do:
Deliver moderately complex to complex solutions end-to-end.
Manage end-to-end delivery of Roadrunner implementation engagements.
Monitor project quality, financials, risk, and delivery performance.
Ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
Manage project plans across multiple concurrent engagements.
Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, including C-level leaders.
Drive product adoption by aligning implementations with business goals and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Example projects:
Lead a Proof of Concept (POC) with a mid-market manufacturing company to demonstrate how Roadrunner’s PQA layer integrates with Salesforce and NetSuite, including live pricing rules, approval workflows, and order synchronization, from kickoff to a working demo in two weeks.
Own the technical workstream for a global SaaS customer’s implementation: map their existing quoting process, design the data model migration from legacy CPQ, and coordinate API integration with their internal engineering team.
What you’ll bring:
Experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting with a track record of owning complex enterprise deals or implementations end-to-end.
Comfort engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders, including CIOs, RevOps leaders, and CAOs.
Hands-on familiarity with CPQ and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CPQ, HubSpot) and a strong understanding of enterprise quoting, pricing, and approval workflows.
Working knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and how they integrate with the broader revenue stack, including order management, billing, and revenue recognition.
Proven experience delivering quote-to-cash programs.
Strong communication skills - able to translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for business audiences and vice versa.
Willingness to spend time in San Francisco during onboarding and travel as needed.
Bonus points if...
You’ve sold or implemented CPQ specifically and understand the pain points firsthand.
You’re comfortable with data modeling and can analyze pricing and data schemas independently.
You’ve been at an early-stage company and know what full ownership of end-to-end delivery entails.
