Future Works is a US-focused, AI-native professional services firm building operational AI and data systems. Our core belief is that optimization reduces resource needs, enhancing sustainability and resilience. We are a team of 'Time Benders' dedicated to accelerating timelines for operational transformation in high-impact industries like energy, real estate, and data.

Our mission is achieved by constructing flawless, AI-powered systems. Our technology already surpasses boutique firms, and we aim to become the world's best Service-as-Software company. Ideal candidates must have a passion for creating human-AI systems, high energy, autonomy, and a drive to bend time.

The Role

Future Works is launching a rapid, 12-week hypothesis-driven transformation cycle to stabilize and optimize a complex North American supply chain relaunch for a major enterprise client.

As the Solutions Architect, you will define the technical blueprint for this transformation. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing the secure cloud environment and shaping the system architecture across data, modeling, and application layers.
  • Ensuring the decision engine is robust enough to transition from pilot validation to production use.
  • Collaborating with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Full Stack Engineers, and QA to transform a fragmented operational landscape into a secure, auditable, and scalable solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture across data ingestion, storage, model services, optimization logic, and user-facing applications.

  • Define and oversee a single-tenant cloud environment that supports rapid delivery while meeting strict requirements for security, access control, auditability, and data isolation.

  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering Lead to shape the canonical schema, integration patterns, and transformation rules for unifying historical freight, order, inventory, and rate card data.

  • Architect how predictive models, business rules, and optimization solvers work together to produce defensible recommendations under real operational constraints.

  • Establish non-functional requirements for performance, resilience, monitoring, deployment, rollback, and release readiness to ensure reliable operation beyond the pilot phase.

  • Translate business requirements and operational logic into technical decisions, guiding engineering teams on trade-offs, sequencing, and implementation standards.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Platform Architecture, or senior software engineering, with a strong track record of designing secure, production-grade enterprise systems.

  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying systems in AWS and/or Azure, including identity, network segregation, secrets management, and secure environment configuration.

  • Strong working knowledge of Python-based services, APIs, PostgreSQL or similar data stores, and modern web application architectures.

  • Proven ability to design end-to-end solutions connecting data pipelines, business logic, analytics or machine learning components, and operational user interfaces.

  • Practical experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM, or logistics platforms, especially in environments with fragmented data and unchangeable source systems.

  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or ERP-heavy operational environments is highly preferred. Understanding of freight flows, inventory positioning, allocation logic, warehouse constraints, and operational exception costs is essential.

  • Good judgment around auditability, deterministic workflows, traceability, and release control in environments requiring explainable and reviewable technical decisions.

  • Ability to work effectively in fast, hypothesis-driven delivery cycles, focusing on quick value proof without creating unnecessary technical debt.

  • Comfort utilizing LLM code assistants and agentic engineering to improve speed, quality, and architectural clarity.

Future Works is a premier, enterprise-grade AI-native transformation and digital-product firm engineered to orchestrate massive-scale operational resiliency and intelligent, frictionless technology-innovation workflows. Operating as an elite, senior-led "strike team," the company eliminates the operational friction of traditional, legacy digital-transformation models—which frequently suffer from slow time-to-value, vague deliverables, and integration-bottlenecks—by seamlessly deploying advanced proprietary AI-delivery telemetry, rigorous ROI-driven project architectures, and cohesive cross-stack transformation frameworks. Moving beyond rigid legacy software paradigms, Future Works empowers high-stakes global sectors (Aerospace, Energy, Real Estate, Finance) to dynamically synchronize their data-platform modernization, systems-integration, and AI-strategy pipelines with elite, scalable, and autonomous execution. Under the hood, their sophisticated proprietary delivery infrastructure—built on high-performance AI-ingestion and project-governance engines—natively handles complex multi-domain system-ingestion, instantaneous architectural-routing, and automated audit-ready documentation workflows, providing the necessary operational foundation to ship production-grade outcomes in weeks rather than years. What sets Future Works apart is its uncompromising dedication to frictionless transformation-orchestration; by bridging the gap between highly technical, performance-intensive sector-specific demands and accessible, human-centric design, the firm empowers modern organizations to radically accelerate their digital-maturity velocity, eliminate systemic organizational-bottlenecks, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial and institutional dominance in the modern, AI-transformed global landscape.
