The Solutions Architect will work on the development of web-based products and tools, with a focus on websites driven by the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS.
In this role, you will act as an internal Adobe AEM consultant, advising teams and clients on developing customer-facing digital platforms and experiences. This includes providing technical guidance and consultancy on recommended technical and architectural approaches to deliver a range of implementations, from small brochure sites to larger, more complex projects.
As a Solutions Architect, you must support software development and demonstrate expertise in the full Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements capture, planning, project estimation, and software design.
Many projects will involve integrating multiple systems and APIs into a common website. Experience with building and consuming microservices is essential, particularly for eCommerce, digital asset management, or product database and configurator integrations.
We build software using Agile (SCRUM) processes, so experience working within such an organization is required.
Requirements:
- Provide technical support to business analysts by attending meetings with customers and contributing to solution design during discovery and ongoing projects.
- Analyze and propose technical solutions based on provided business requirements.
- Gather technical and non-functional requirements and advise on their impacts to solutions.
- Design technical architecture.
- Prepare high-level designs to share with customers.
- Create technical documentation to guide development teams.
- Support project managers and Scrum Masters in providing high-level estimates.
- Validate and collaborate with teams to ensure estimates are realistic and completed to specification and on time.
- Collaborate with project management and business analysts on roadmap planning.
- Work closely with development teams during design and implementation phases, providing support for complex solution implementations.
- Act as an interface between development and third-party infrastructure teams to analyze, optimize, and assist with issue triage at a high level.
- Conduct technical governance and code reviews.
- Candidates must have commercial experience with either HTML/JavaScript or Java in the full software development lifecycle, with strong logical and problem-solving skills.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and experience writing technical documentation.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent technical background in building web applications, preferably with AEM or a similar CMS. Experience with Java, Spring, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
