Our client is a growing digital marketing agency that partners primarily with local trades and service-based businesses. The agency specializes in creating clean, professional, and trust-building digital content across social media and websites. With a strong focus on long-term client relationships, the business aims to deliver consistent, high-quality content while continuously improving systems and scaling its operations.
We are seeking a Social Media & Digital Content Manager who can become an integral part of the agency and gradually take ownership of its social media operations. This role goes beyond content execution—you'll learn each client's brand, create engaging content with minimal supervision, manage multiple accounts, and contribute strategic ideas for content planning and process improvement.
Initially, you'll manage approximately 10–11 client accounts, producing around 30 Facebook and Instagram posts per week using Canva, CapCut, and Sendible. You'll also support basic WordPress (Divi Builder) website updates and use AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with content creation and website copy.
As you grow into the role, you'll be expected to independently manage content calendars, suggest campaign ideas, streamline workflows, and become the agency's trusted Social Media Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately 10–11 client social media accounts.
- Create and publish around 30 Facebook and Instagram posts weekly.
- Design high-quality graphics using Canva.
- Edit short-form video content and reels using CapCut.
- Schedule and manage content through Sendible.
- Write engaging captions aligned with each client's brand and marketing goals.
- Repurpose client-provided photos and videos into professional social media content.
- Maintain brand consistency across multiple client accounts.
- Plan content calendars and develop content pillars.
- Suggest creative campaign ideas and content improvements.
- Manage workload independently while meeting deadlines.
- Perform basic WordPress website updates using Divi Builder.
- Upload project photos, duplicate pages, and update website content.
- Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to assist with copywriting and content refinement.
- Improve internal workflows and contribute to process optimization.
- Take increasing ownership of day-to-day content delivery as the agency grows.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional social media management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Canva.
- Experience editing short-form videos using CapCut.
- Strong understanding of Facebook and Instagram best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently after onboarding.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT for content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Preferred Skills (nice to have):
- Experience with WordPress.
- Familiarity with Divi Theme Builder.
- Basic copywriting skills.
- Content planning and editorial calendar management.
- Brand management experience.
- Previous experience working in a marketing agency or handling multiple client accounts.
- Knowledge of social media strategy and campaign development.
- Process improvement and workflow optimization experience.
- Ability to proactively generate content ideas with minimal direction.
- Passion for growing within a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.

View Company ProfilePear Tree is a disruptive global offshore recruitment and remote staffing agency that challenges the traditional, high-margin Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) model. Founded with a mission to eliminate exploitative middleman fees, the company enables businesses in Australia, New Zealand, the US, and the UK to hire top-tier offshore talent directly. Under the hood, Pear Tree operates on a highly transparent, flat-fee structure: clients pay a one-time placement fee, and 100% of the ongoing salary goes directly to the remote professional. They specialize in sourcing highly skilled candidates from the Philippines and South Africa for a wide array of roles, including Full-Stack Developers, Virtual Assistants, Financial Analysts, and Mortgage Broker Assistants. To ensure absolute compliance and operational ease, they also offer optional Employer of Record (EOR) and Contractor of Record (COR) services, complete with localized HR, IT, and payroll support. What sets Pear Tree apart in the crowded remote staffing space is its rigorous 6-step vetting process, an industry-leading 6-month replacement guarantee, and an ethical commitment to ensuring offshore talent is paid fairly—resulting in a massive 90% first-year retention rate and up to 80% monthly payroll savings for their clients.
