Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-focused support to Slovak-speaking travellers using the Booking.com platform, assisting with reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Deliver expert guidance on travel-related enquiries including accommodation options, travel policies, pricing, and platform features within the tourism industry.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and disputes in a timely, effective, and courteous manner, ensuring a premium travel experience at every touchpoint.
  • Collaborate closely with hotels, property managers, and tourism partners listed on Booking.com to facilitate smooth bookings and resolve any service discrepancies.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, feedback, and case outcomes using internal CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Stay up to date with Booking.com's evolving suite of travel products, promotions, and platform updates in order to provide accurate and current information to customers.
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate departments, contributing to continuous improvement within the tourism support environment.
  • Meet and consistently exceed individual and team performance targets, including customer satisfaction scores, response times, and quality assurance benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent Slovak language skills — both spoken and written — are essential for this role; candidates without proficiency in Slovak will not be considered.
  • Valid EU passport or relevant documentation confirming the right to work within the EU (mandatory).
  • A genuine passion for the tourism industry and a strong desire to deliver exceptional travel experiences to customers.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, travel agency, or tourism-related role is highly advantageous, though motivated candidates with transferable skills are warmly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills with a professional and courteous demeanour.
  • Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection, and self-motivated to maintain productivity in a home-based environment within Greece.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate online platforms, CRM tools, and booking systems with efficiency.
