Short-Form Video Editor (UK-Based)

Our client in the UK is looking for a Short-Form Video Editor to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form content that sounds and feels like the client. You will take long-form footage (typically clips of around two hours) and cut it into punchy, on-brand videos that land UK humour, pacing, and hooks first time, so the London team spends its time on ideas rather than rounds of feedback.

Requirements

What you will bring

• 2+ years editing short-form social content, ideally for a consumer, entertainment or e-commerce brand, or an agency.
• A portfolio or showreel of TikTok / Reels content with measurable performance.
• Strong command of Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with a natural feel for British humour, slang, and cultural references.
• Proven ability to work at pace and volume without losing quality.
• Reliable home setup and connectivity and availability on UK hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with UGC and creator-led content.
• Motion graphics or basic animation.
• Familiarity with games, board games, or party culture.
• Basic understanding of paid social creative testing.

How success is measured

• Videos delivered against agreed volume targets.
• First-time approval rate and reduction in QC comments.
• Turnaround time from footage to finished edit.
• Content performance (views, watch time, engagement) over time.
