Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SEO / AIO / AEO Search Specialist to take ownership of search performance across multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical SEO knowledge, experience managing website optimisation projects, and an understanding of emerging AI-driven search trends.
You will be responsible for implementing SEO strategies, optimising websites, conducting competitor and keyword research, and helping clients improve their visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences. The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and capable of independently managing a portfolio of clients while delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO, AIO (AI Optimisation), and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) strategies across multiple client accounts
- Conduct technical SEO audits and implement recommendations to improve website performance
- Optimise on-page SEO elements including metadata, content structure, internal linking, and user experience
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and search opportunity assessments
- Update and maintain client websites, ensuring SEO best practices are consistently applied
- Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and other key performance metrics
- Prepare performance reports and provide actionable recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Research and implement emerging AI search optimisation and answer engine strategies
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and develop strategic roadmaps for ongoing improvement
- Participate in regular client and team meetings to discuss performance, priorities, and opportunities
- Collaborate with content, paid media, and marketing teams to support broader digital marketing objectives
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- 4-7+ years of experience in SEO, search marketing, or digital marketing roles
- Previous experience working for clients in AU/US/UK/CA or similar markets
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and website optimisation
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of AI Optimisation (AIO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) principles is highly desirable
- Experience conducting competitor analysis, keyword research, and SEO strategy development
- Ability to edit, manage, and optimise websites on WordPress and Shopify
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify growth opportunities
- Experience preparing performance reports and presenting recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Workspace, Excel, and CRM platforms is advantageous
