About the Role

The Senior Training Specialist owns the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enablement programs for Customer Success, with a primary focus on onboarding and ongoing skills development for Marketing Assistants and Account Managers. This role independently develops and facilitates training across the Scorpion technology suite (Platform, CSX, CMS, My Site, Enterprise Portal), client communication and service standards, account management practices, and core digital marketing concepts.

Serving as a subject-matter resource and strategic partner to Customer Success leaders and cross-functional teams, the Senior Training Specialist identifies learning needs, translates business and performance gaps into effective learning solutions, and uses data and feedback to continuously improve programs. This role helps ensure client-facing teams build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to ramp quickly and perform consistently.

What Your Success Will Look Like

  • Own the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of onboarding and skills-training programs for customer-facing roles, including client communication, service standards, tools, workflows, and turnaround expectations.
  • Independently facilitate engaging in-person and virtual learning experiences, adapting delivery methods and content based on audience needs, performance gaps, and business priorities.
  • Design, build, and maintain training curricula, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and other enablement resources for the Scorpion technology suite and digital marketing channels, including SEO, paid media, social, and content.
  • Assess learning and performance needs in partnership with Customer Success leaders and subject-matter experts and recommend appropriate training or enablement solutions.
  • Own assigned learning paths within the LMS/enablement platform, including curriculum structure, scheduling, enrollment, completion tracking, assessments, and ongoing optimization.
  • Analyze learner feedback, assessment results, quality scores, completion data, and performance indicators to evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate insights from training and performance data into actionable recommendations and implement improvements to programs, content, and learning experiences.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the enablement content library, establishing scalable and consistent resources for client-facing teams.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Directors, Customer Success leadership, and cross-functional support teams to anticipate enablement needs and ensure training reflects evolving tools, products, processes, and client expectations.
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for Customer Success onboarding, Scorpion technology, client-service standards, and applicable account management practices.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional enablement initiatives and provide recommendations on training approaches, readiness, and adoption for new tools, processes, or programs.
  • Mentor and share best practices with other facilitators, trainers, and subject-matter experts as needed, without direct people-management responsibility.

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • Education:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience:

    • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE), with demonstrated ability to apply them when designing and facilitating training programs.
    • Experience using learner feedback, assessments, performance metrics, or other data to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
    • Strong working knowledge of LMS/enablement platforms, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office 365; experience with CRM and Customer Success tools preferred.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, paid media, social, and content, and how they support client outcomes.
    • Strong understanding of customer success, account management, and client-service workflows.
