View Company ProfileNextech is a premier provider of specialty-specific Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) software solutions, fundamentally designed to optimize the clinical and operational workflows of healthcare providers. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, the company replaces clunky, generic medical software with an intuitive, cloud-based platform built specifically for specialty practices. Under the hood, Nextech caters exclusively to the unique charting and billing needs of dermatology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and med spa clinics. Their robust ecosystem includes fully integrated Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), an embedded AI medical scribe to drastically reduce documentation time, patient engagement tools like Nextech CRM, and advanced data analytics. Their primary target audience spans independent specialty clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and massive enterprise healthcare networks that desperately need to streamline patient intake and maximize profitability. What sets Nextech apart in the massive HealthTech landscape—which recently led to a $1.4 billion acquisition by TPG—is its uncompromising focus on purpose-built customization; by eliminating tedious administrative workflows, they empower over 16,000 specialty physicians to see more patients daily, finish charting before the patient leaves the exam room, and significantly boost practice revenue.
