Flashpoint
View Company ProfileFlashpoint (operating under flashpoint.io, legally Flashpoint Intel / EJ2 Communications, Inc.) is the premier, enterprise-grade risk intelligence platform, deep/dark web data collection architecture, and cyber threat intelligence (CTI) engine engineered to serve as the definitive proactive defense layer and tactical asset monitoring infrastructure for global Fortune 500 corporations, tier-one financial institutions, and international defense and allied government agencies. Founded in 2010 by globally recognized national security and counterterrorism specialists, the company completely eliminates systemic operational vulnerabilities across expanding enterprise attack surfaces by piercing highly restricted online environments. Moving far beyond automated network scanners or reactive anti-virus setups, Flashpoint natively unifies primary-source cyber threat intelligence, multi-modal fraud detection, corporate physical security telemetry, and automated vulnerability tracking into its high-speed Ignite software platform. By continuously harvesting, parsing, and normalizing petabytes of hidden telemetry from closed hacker forums, encrypted messaging applications, and illicit marketplaces, the system equips Security Operations Centers (SOC) and risk managers to confidently preempt ransomware campaigns, account takeovers, compromised credential exposures, and insider threats before they reach critical enterprise boundaries. Flashpoint further accelerates mission success through specialized, multilingual human intelligence (HUMINT) operations and managed service units fluent in dozens of languages. Backed originally by premier institutional venture groups like Greycroft and Jump Capital, the high-scale cybersecurity enterprise was strategically acquired by Audax Private Equity in 2021 to fuel aggressive product line growth and buy-side consolidation—a strategy highlighted by its successful acquisitions of vulnerability intelligence authority Risk Based Security and open-source intelligence (OSINT) platform Echosec Systems. Headquartered in New York City with deep operational hubs in Washington, D.C., Flashpoint stands as the world largest independent threat intelligence provider, anchoring the foundational digital risk protection frameworks that safeguard global commerce and critical national infrastructure.
