We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our builders team, which owns the core publishing platform for creators - how they create email templates, landing pages, forms, newsletter sites, and more. You’ll help enable creators to make and send high-impact, visually appealing, on-brand, and delightful content at scale. This is the core of our business - every creator's journey with Kit starts with building something, and we want that experience to be fast, flexible, and delightful.

You'll own key product surfaces end-to-end - from identifying opportunities to shipping products that touch hundreds of thousands of Creators and more than a billion subscribers.

This is a full-time senior IC role ideal for someone who thrives on creating high quality products, aligning the company on a broader vision and strategy, measuring impact, and is excited to shape how Kit shows up in the world - literally, in every email, page, and form a creator publishes.

Your support system

You'll report to Katie Swett Miller, our Chief Product Officer and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Success, and Sales teams. You'll partner across functions to ensure alignment between product experiences and go-to-market efforts, while having access to a peer group of Product Managers across Kit for support and mentorship.

What you'll do

  • First Week: Dive into Kit's product ecosystem, the Builders surfaces (email editor, landing pages, forms, newsletter site), and current tooling for measuring content quality and creator output. Attend Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) meetings with cross-functional partners. Get access and learn key tools like Linear, Mixpanel, Omni, and our design/prototyping stack.

  • First Month: Build rituals. Dive into the products. Meet with a customer. Have shipped your first feature, partnering with engineering, design, and marketing closely.

  • First Six Months: Have an established POV on how we win in the industry. What success looks like for the team and the product space. And have engineers and the broader company understanding progress towards those goals.

  • First Year: Led major initiatives from conception through to successful launch. Impacted customers and the business.

What will S.E.T. you up for success

Skills

  • Data-informed decision making and quantitative analysis

  • Strong product judgment and prioritization

  • Systems thinking and building for scale

  • Deep collaboration with design on craft and visual quality

  • Cross-functional influence and collaboration

  • Strong AI fluency. Comfortable using AI tools daily in your own workflow and evaluating where AI can meaningfully improve a product

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Bonus if you have Publishing or content creation expertise

Experiences

  • 6-9+ years in product management with significant ownership of a core, revenue-driving product area.

  • Proven track record building high quality, scaled, software - ideally including creation tools, editors, or content/publishing surfaces.

  • Deep experience with content creation online

  • Partnered closely with design to drive long-term vision for a product area, including hands-on involvement in craft and visual polish

Traits

  • High ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments

  • Comfort balancing short-term wins with long-term vision

  • Systems thinker who builds foundations, not just features

  • Low ego, strong collaborator who influences without authority

  • Intellectually curious with a bias toward learning

  • Clear communicator who can articulate strategy, tradeoffs, results at multiple levels

  • Customer-focused while maintaining business discipline

  • Strong taste and attention to craft - cares about how things look and feel, not just whether they function

What won't set you up for success

  • Seeking highly structured environments with predetermined solutions

  • Preferring tactics over systems thinking

  • Needing extensive direction to identify opportunities

  • Discomfort with setting goals and measuring outcomes and work against them

  • Difficulty distinguishing signal from noise in ambiguous situations

  • Indifference to visual/craft quality or treating design as an afterthought

Working hours and location

We're 100% remote with team members across the globe, but this role requires consistent overlap with our Engineering, Product, and Design teams across Europe and the U.S. The team has fixed meetings from 10:45–11:45 a.m. Eastern on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We also ask team members to keep 12:00–2:00 p.m. Eastern generally available for recurring EPD meetings, planning sessions, our Team Call, and occasional project meetings. This window won't be filled with meetings every day, but we need the flexibility to schedule within it while both our European and West Coast teammates are online. Fridays are focus days, with no recurring meetings.

Compensation + perks + benefits

Kit has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. For this role, we're hiring at our level 4 ($173,000). Level is determined based on experience and our interview process.
