United StatesJob Description
Key Skills Required
Master these to land this role
Want to know if you're a match for this job?
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Content & Events Marketing to build and scale two of the most important growth engines in our B2B business: the content and sales enablement that helps our team win, and the field marketing programs that create meaningful relationships with health plan leaders.
This is an individual contributor, builder's role on a small, high-impact team. You'll help shape how Foodsmart goes to market by building content, sales enablement, and field marketing programs from the ground up. Working closely with our Director of Communications & B2B Marketing and our Sales team, you'll have the autonomy to turn ideas into execution, create programs that generate meaningful customer relationships, and see your impact reflected in pipeline and growth. If you enjoy owning work end to end, thrive in ambiguity, and move quickly without sacrificing quality, you'll thrive here.
You will:
Content & sales enablement
- Build and maintain the core messaging, thought leadership, and sales enablement assets that position Foodsmart as the leader in foodcare.
- Create the materials that help our sales team win: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, competitive positioning, and account-specific support tailored to each buyer.
- Translate clinical evidence and customer outcomes into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with health plan decision-makers.
- Grow and maintain our library of high-value content (benchmark reports, case studies, and our Clinical Intelligence Series) that equips our Sales team with timely, high-impact content throughout the buyer journey.
- Continuously identify new ways to improve how we tell our story, generate demand, and enable Sales—bringing new ideas, testing them quickly, and scaling what works.
Events & field marketing
- Own the company's strategic events program, including the annual events calendar, trade shows, customer events, and sponsorships that drive pipeline, brand visibility, and customer engagement.
- Partner with Sales to develop integrated account-based marketing campaigns that combine content, events, digital channels, and executive engagement to accelerate pipeline.
- Lead cross-functional event planning and execution, aligning Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive stakeholders on timelines, responsibilities, messaging, and event success.
- Develop and execute integrated event marketing and sales enablement plans, including promotional campaigns, collateral, account targeting, meeting support, social media, and on-site brand experience.
- Measure and optimize event performance, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, attendee experience, and return on investment.
LinkedIn & social
- Own Foodsmart's B2B LinkedIn strategy across the company and executive team, using thought leadership to build credibility, engage health plan leaders, and support pipeline generation.
- Support our sales team's social selling efforts, helping them find, engage, and build relationships with the right contacts.
- Stand up account-focused paid campaigns as the program grows.
You have:
- 6+ years in B2B marketing, with depth in both content/enablement and events/field marketing, and a track record of owning programs end to end.
- Experience as a true partner to sales teams. You think in terms of accounts, buyers, and advancing real opportunities, not vanity metrics.
- Experience marketing into healthcare, payers, or another complex, enterprise, long sales-cycle industry, with an understanding of what it takes to earn a first meeting with a senior buyer.
- An exceptional writer and marketer who can turn clinical evidence, customer outcomes, and business strategy into polished, on-brand content with speed and accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with a CRM (Salesforce), a marketing automation platform (HubSpot or similar), and LinkedIn.
- Strong writing and program management — you can keep event logistics and content deadlines moving in parallel without dropping either.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in food-as-medicine, value-based care, or Medicaid/Medicare managed care.
- Experience working in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities evolve quickly and marketers are expected to own strategy and execution.
- A history of building an events engine or field marketing program from scratch.
- Comfort setting up light marketing operations: tracking, campaign hygiene, and reporting.
