Senior IT System Engineer

Currently, we are looking for a passionate and proactive Senior IT System Engineer who is a proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ownership and subject matter expertise for tools such as: Google Workspace, Azure, O365, Make, Jira, 1Password, Slack
• Conducting regular meetings with team members, assigning tasks, and consulting on their progress
• Monitoring team happiness and atmosphere
• Gathering, giving, and acting on feedback for team members
• Taking care of team development and helping individuals reach their potential
• Planning development budgets
• Executing HR processes, including vacation monitoring, onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, and salary review processes
• Connecting people with company strategy, Netguru processes, and keeping them updated with company news

Additionally, you will be responsible for operational tasks such as:

• Managing day-to-day operations of the Service Desk Team
• Ensuring set KPIs and SLAs are met to deliver quality service to internal stakeholders
• Co-creating and monitoring policies and procedures for the Service Desk Team
• Handling queries and escalations from stakeholders
• Managing and communicating changes within the department and organization
• Monitoring hardware stock, managing orders, and EOL processes
• Resource allocation and scheduling to meet service demands and manage priorities
• Anticipating the impact of business decisions on team operations and taking appropriate action
• Handling cross-departmental cooperation for shared responsibility areas

Requirements:

• Very good command of written and spoken Polish (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2)
• Experience in managing a team of at least 3-5 people
• Experience with tools such as: Google Workspace, Azure, O365, Make, Jira, 1Password, Slack
• Experience in an IT environment (working in an Agile environment is a plus)
• Experience with ITSM or similar frameworks
• Experience with one of the following ITSM tools: Jira SM, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Service Now
• Experience in managing hardware asset registries for laptops and accessories
• Experience in a fast-changing company (e.g., software development organization)
• ITIL Foundation Certificate preferred
• Ability to motivate and grow your team
• Proactive and a good team player
• Experience managing macOS and Windows endpoints
