Senior Analytics Engineer - GTM

About the Role:

As Senior Analytics Engineer - GTM, you’ll drive growth for the GTM team, reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence. You’ll join a global team of analytics and data engineers responsible for data pipelines supporting sales analytics, such as headcount planning, quota attainment, and sales effectiveness. Your role involves ensuring accurate data and a single source of truth for GTM and growth metrics. You’ll combine domain expertise in sales and GTM with data skills in analysis, pipeline building, and data modeling. Collaboration with diverse stakeholders is key, and you’ll ensure business needs are met.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the GTM data roadmap to build scalable and durable data products.
• Build and maintain key data pipelines and marts for core company-wide GTM metrics, including headcount models, quota attainment, and pipeline.
• Develop insightful and reliable dashboards to track performance of core metrics, delivering company-wide insights.

• Collaborate with GTM analyst teams to train and enable them on datasets and data tools.
• Write comprehensive documentation and tutorials.
• Work across the full-stack of analytics, from ad-hoc analysis and reports to architecting pipelines.
• Build semantic models and run evaluations to power AI tools that enable sales operators to query business data in natural language.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development while maintaining clean, maintainable code, models, and documentation.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly and persuasively through technical specifications, dashboards, and presentations to align teams on metrics and definitions.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or analytics engineering.
• Deep expertise in data modeling and data warehouse design.
• Expert-level SQL skills and experience with columnar analytics databases such as Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce’s data model and other GTM systems.
• Experience with DBT and GIT.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, with a bonus for Direct Hex experience.
• Experience working with sales, sales operations, sales compensation, and finance teams.
• Experience building with AI tooling for data, including semantic models, context management systems, and evaluations.
• A meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to self-project manage work.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with both business executives and engineers.
