About The Role
The FormativGroup is adding the role of the Salesforce Developer is a short-term, project-based opportunity focused on supporting Salesforce development, integrations, production support, and platform maintenance across core Salesforce technologies. This person will help translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while supporting development, deployment, QA, and environment activities throughout the project lifecycle. Weโre looking for a hands-on Salesforce Developer who is comfortable working across requirements, solution design, development, testing, and release support in a fast-moving project environment.
What Youโll Do
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Flow, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Support project work across core Salesforce applications, specifically including Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify project needs, and translate those requirements into actionable development work.
- Contribute to solution design by helping define technical approaches, integration patterns, and scalable Salesforce configurations.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations, including REST-based integrations and API-driven connections between Salesforce and external systems.
- Use Bitbucket to support DevOps processes, source control, deployment coordination, and release management activities.
- Create, update, and manage Jira stories to document project work, development tasks, bugs, and production support items.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting Salesforce issues, resolving defects, and supporting business-critical platform functionality.
- Participate in QA activities, including defect resolution, test support, validation, and coordination with project stakeholders.
- Support Salesforce environment refreshes, sandbox maintenance, deployment readiness, and release-related activities.
- Maintain, deploy, and support Salesforce managed packages and third-party applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals.
What Youโll Bring
- Required active and valid Salesforce certifications, with a minimum of Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
- 7โ10 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Flow.
- Required experience with core Salesforce technologies, including Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce solution design, configuration, customization, and platform maintenance.
- Experience gathering business and technical requirements and translating them into development tasks.
- Experience creating and managing Jira stories, tasks, defects, and project documentation.
- Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and API-based Salesforce development.
- Experience using Bitbucket or similar source control tools in a Salesforce DevOps environment.
- Experience supporting production Salesforce environments, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and user-impacting issue resolution.
- Experience with QA support, defect management, testing coordination, and release validation.
- Experience with Salesforce environment refreshes, sandbox management, and deployment support.
- Experience maintaining and deploying Salesforce managed packages and third-party Salesforce applications.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and move quickly within a defined project scope.
Location and Work Requirements
- Work arrangement: This role is open to US โ Remote with travel to closest Office for the 1st week, required
