MNTN is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to bridge the gap between Revenue teams and the systems that drive their success. This role involves partnering with RevOps product managers, revenue stakeholders, and the Salesforce build team to transform complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with RevOps and stakeholders across sales, customer success (CS), and marketing operations to gather, challenge, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and map both current and future-state processes, including opportunity management, handoffs, routing, and account plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming requests, triaging and resolving daily operations, while backlogging others for roadmap prioritization and keeping requesters updated on status.
- Maintain clean, well-scoped, and organized intake queues to ensure efficiency.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop and execute test plans, validate against acceptance criteria, and coordinate release readiness with Technical Enablement.
- Track work through the delivery pipeline, sprint boards, sandbox promotion, and release timing to ensure timely delivery.
- Preserve documentation, data-dictionary entries, and process/SOP artifacts to maintain system clarity.
- Perform light declarative configuration where beneficial, such as reports, fields, and layouts.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a Salesforce and/or RevOps environment.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, user-story writing, and process-mapping. You should be adept at asking insightful questions beyond the obvious.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, including objects, records, reports, and conceptual automation. A Salesforce Admin certification is a plus.
- Experience in running UAT, creating documentation, and managing stakeholders across go-to-market teams.
- Experience managing a request-intake/triage process and maintaining a shared queue (e.g., a Jira project) to ensure it remains clean and current.
- Some familiarity with Salesforce release mechanics, sandboxes, change sets, or a CI/CD tool, and how a build transitions from development to production.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where priorities can shift rapidly, and clarity is your responsibility to provide.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the GTM stack, including tools like LeanData, Qualified, Inflection, Nooks, and BI/reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Knowledge of RevOps processes, including segmentation, lifecycle, coverage, and forecasting.
What Success Looks Like
- Effectively translates complex or ambiguous business needs into clear process designs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Enhances intake quality so that approved work is fully scoped, prioritized, and ready for the delivery team to build.
- Leads business testing and secures stakeholder signoff, ensuring releases address the intended problems and are ready for adoption.
- Maintains clear process and system documentation, reducing requirement-related rework and back-and-forth for builders.
