The Opportunity:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will focus on three core missions:

  • Engage with and listen to users and prospects to provide appropriate resources and guidance for their Grafana journey.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to identify new business opportunities, contributing to company revenue goals.
  • Develop transferable skills to advance your career goals.

Our commercial success is tied to our open-source DNA and users’ success with our software. We seek team members who can leverage this connection and support the long-term health of our company.

You will balance reactive and proactive work, responding to inbound inquiries and outreaching to target accounts. This role requires research, a detective mindset, and confidence in driving business conversations on the phone. You must also know how to use AI as a tool to improve productivity.

This is a fast-paced and challenging role with a global team from over 15 countries. We seek driven, humble, and technically curious individuals who embrace a team-first attitude and demonstrate extreme ownership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain knowledge of our technology, competitors, open-source ecosystem, and industry trends.
  • Follow up on inbound leads effectively and efficiently.
  • Use a multi-channel approach (email, social, calling) to proactively outreach to new leads within target accounts.
  • Use Salesforce and Grafana dashboards for lead and account management and research.
  • Use research and data to prioritize and customize outreach to target prospects and accounts via email and LinkedIn.
  • Drive effective discovery conversations to understand users’ needs and goals, providing appropriate resources and communicating how Grafana can help.
  • Consistently meet new business opportunity and pipeline targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales to win as a team.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Open to feedback and coaching, always looking for ways to improve.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication style.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize many tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to take on any task with a focus on quality.
  • Resourceful and proactive in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Driven by purpose and by winning with a team-first attitude.
  • Located in France.

Bonus Points For:

Interview preparation and alignment with our CARR model (Context, Action, Results, Reflection).

Grafana is the world's most popular open-source platform for monitoring and observability. It allows you to query, visualize, alert on, and understand your metrics no matter where they are stored. Unlike other tools that force you to move your data into their database, Grafana connects directly to your existing data sources (like Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, SQL, InfluxDB, etc.). It acts as a 'Single Pane of Glass,' meaning you can see data from 50 different tools on one beautiful, customizable dashboard. If a server goes down or a website gets slow, Grafana is the tool that shows you the red spike and sends the alert.
