Sales Associates are responsible for identifying and generating high-value opportunities for our Account Executives to close. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will be primarily focused on researching the Target Accounts in their territory and performing outreach through emails, calls, and LinkedIn.
Previous experience as an SDR is not required, but you should want to foster a long-term career in sales. The SDR role is your foot in the door to the wide, lucrative world of B2B sales. We are looking for individuals with a passion for advancing in their career and consider learning and growing a vital part of their professional development. Top performers in this role are individuals who take extreme ownership over their process and remain diligent in their outreach and follow-up. About You β¨
You likely have:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year of Sales experience (in any industry/capacity)
- Experience prospecting into complex, strategic, enterprise, or national accounts
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to automate tasks, improve productivity, conduct research, or enhance sales outreach
- Ability to think strategically about account prioritization and stakeholder engagement
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Clear history of diligent process and clear follow-up abilities
- Experience persevering despite challenges
- Experience with sales tools (SalesLoft/Outreach, Salesforce, SalesNav, etc.)
- Independent self-starter who also works well on a team
- Passionate about providing inclusive coverage to marginalized populations
Nice to Have β
- 6-9 months of experience as an SDR
- Professional experience in a client-facing role
- Professional experience in fertility, reproductive health, healthcare, employee benefits, health plans, or a related industry

Compensation π°
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $55,000-$65,000, plus a variable component. Actual compensation may vary from the posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
