Relational Organizing Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain postcard dashboard spreadsheets to ensure organizers have real-time data for volunteer outreach and organizing efforts.

• Track and report metrics for postcard campaigns, including performance indicators and success rates.

• Manage the vendor list process for postcard campaigns, performing quality assurance on data used for vendor mail lists to ensure accuracy and completeness of final mailings.

• Support and maintain Reach accounts, updating content as needed to align with current WFP campaigns and organizational priorities.

• Mobilize WFP members to engage with their networks using Reach and personal postcards to support WFP and its champions.

• Ensure rigorous reporting, documentation, and evaluation of postcard campaign success, including tracking metrics, challenges, and implementing necessary improvements.

• Collaborate with the Data Team to enhance structures, systems, and processes for more efficient data utilization in relational organizing projects and post-campaign reporting.

• Develop relational organizing materials and training resources (e.g., written guides, recordings, sample scripts) for easy implementation by staff and volunteers. Lead trainings and recruit volunteers in collaboration with WFP state staff as needed.

• Cultivate strong relationships with WFP member organizations and drive adoption of the photo postcard tactic.

• Contribute to maintaining a regular schedule of 1-on-1 relational meetings with supporters, volunteers, and activists.

• Create posts for upcoming events and announcements for the national volunteer community and moderate the activist Slack community.

• Foster a digital community culture of positivity and inclusion, promoting a diverse, resilient, and growing volunteer community, including developing relationships between activists.
