You will be Waymark’s first Product Marketing Manager, building our product marketing function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape how we position our AI technology and data science innovations in the market, translate complex clinical evidence into compelling business narratives, and create the strategic infrastructure that enables our enterprise sales success with health plans and health systems.

You will work directly with our VP of Marketing and collaborate closely with our BD, Product, Research/Clinical, and Partner Success teams to develop positioning frameworks, competitive strategies, and sales enablement materials that don’t exist today. In your first 12 months, you’ll establish our tech differentiation narrative, build a comprehensive sales enablement library, lead strategic product launches for our AI products, build our scientific communications pipeline, and create the market intelligence systems that inform our product strategy. If you thrive in environments where you can build something from scratch and see direct impact on revenue growth, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own our product positioning framework and messaging architecture across our AI product portfolio, translating data science capabilities and clinical outcomes into business-outcome language that resonates with health plan and health system buyers
  • Build and maintain our tech differentiation narrative — the cohesive story of why our AI innovation matters and where we win against competitors
  • Lead strategic go-to-market planning for product launches, moving us from tactical announcements to systematic market education with clear positioning and success metrics
  • Own scientific communications: partner with our research and clinical teams to triage new manuscripts, plan publication moments, and translate peer-reviewed findings into market-facing narratives and enablement content
  • Build and maintain our sales enablement library — pitch decks, case studies, whitepapers, battle cards — and partner with BD and Partner Success to support key enterprise opportunities and continuously improve our sales approach based on market feedback

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, including experience as the first or only product marketer building the function from scratch
  • Track record bringing new products to market, particularly technical or data science products, with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complex technical and clinical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives
  • Self-starter who operates effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments with ability to build processes and infrastructure independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience, particularly working with health plans, health systems, or value-based care organizations
  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth B2B SaaS companies
  • Background translating clinical evidence, research, or technical capabilities into market positioning and sales narratives

Waymark (operating under waymarkcare.com, legally Waymark Care, Inc.) is the premier, enterprise-grade technology-enabled Medicaid care management platform, public benefit corporation, and value-based healthcare orchestration powerhouse engineered to act as the definitive, high-velocity community-based intervention, rising-risk stratification, and social determinants of health (SDOH) enablement layer for managed care organizations (MCOs), health plans, and primary care providers. Founded by prominent healthcare technology entrepreneurs and physicians Dr. Rajaie Batniji, Dr. Sanjay Basu, and Afia Asamoah, the platform completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern safety-net healthcare delivery—where Medicaid beneficiaries lose critical health momentum, experience fragmented treatment paths, and fall into preventable acute crises because legacy healthcare systems are reactive, inaccessible, and disconnected from non-clinical social needs like food insecurity, unstable housing, and lack of transportation—by deploying a sophisticated, evidence-based care delivery engine. Moving far beyond traditional, passive telehealth applications, corporate case management lines, or standard clinical EHR frameworks, Waymark natively unifies a proprietary machine learning-driven risk analytics platform (Waymark Signal) that preemptively identifies rising-risk enrollees, multi-disciplinary localized mobile squads (including community health workers, licensed behavioral therapists, clinical pharmacists, and care coordinators), automated administrative paperwork and prior-authorization pipelines, and extensive community-resource routing networks into a single high-availability population health workspace. Proving its category-defining impact in peer-reviewed clinical research published across major digital medicine journals, the platform's integrated AI-guided interventions have successfully driven a 22.9% reduction in all-cause acute care events across major statewide cohorts. Backed by over $45 million in elite institutional venture capital—anchored by a foundational funding matrix from New Enterprise Associates (NEA) alongside top-tier healthcare and technology investors—the organization scales its specialized community footprint across major markets including Ohio, Virginia, and Washington. Under the hood, its technology core utilizes sophisticated offline reinforcement learning algorithms, advanced graphical structure learning mechanisms built to target heterogeneous treatment effects, and zero-data-loss security layers designed to streamline administrative intake from 38 minutes to 25 minutes without decreasing patient-facing field velocity. What sets Waymark apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing fragmented, reactive safety-net programs with absolute clinical predictability, scalable value-based risk sharing, and proactive intervention velocity; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive structural data analytics and the daily, real-world human needs of low-income populations, the enterprise remains the definitive cornerstone of modern algorithmic population health management and global Medicaid care transformation.
