Warp: We’re Building the Platform for Agentic Development

Warp began with the vision of reimagining one of the fundamental dev tools, the terminal, to make it more usable and powerful for all developers. As AI has advanced, Warp has evolved beyond its terminal roots into a full agentic development environment: a workbench for dispatching agents to code, deploy, and debug production software.

Today, we have three products. Warp is the agentic development environment born out of the terminal, built on an orchestration platform for running hundreds of cloud agents in parallel. And Warp Factories is our newest product: infrastructure for engineering teams to build and run their own cloud software factories, where fleets of agents triage, spec, implement, review, and verify code across a company’s entire SDLC. Together, these products are creating the scaffolding for developers to build their own workflows for working with agents.

In Warp, you can seamlessly switch between running commands, launching agents, and iterating on code with agents, eliminating the need to jump between a terminal and an IDE. It all works with our built-in state-of-the-art agent or top agents like Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode. On the orchestration side, you can build custom agents that are triggered programmatically, tracked centrally, and shared across full teams to run agents across organizations without compromising security or reliability. Continue a cloud agent run locally in Warp or on the web with one click. And with Warp Factories, teams can go a step further and set up entire automated workflows around their SDLC, retaining full control over their data, models, and compute along the way.

With over 1 million active developers at companies including Docker, Ramp, and Peloton, and over half of the Fortune 500, and revenue that grew over 44x last year, Warp is one of the fastest-growing startups in the AI development space.

Our mission has remained the same even as AI has advanced: to empower developers to ship better software more quickly, freeing them to focus on the creative and rewarding aspects of their work. If you want to help define what development looks like in the agentic era at a company where your work reaches hundreds of thousands of engineers every day, we’d love to have you.

As a Product Designer, you will...

  • Design and prototype product experiences for Warp using Figma in close collaboration with Warp’s engineering, product, and growth teams.
  • Iterate on existing features to improve ergonomics, cognitive load, workflow friction, design pattern consistency, and comprehension.
  • Craft every detail of new product features, from idea to UX to pixel-perfect execution.
  • Contribute to and help manage Warp’s design system and ensure implementation meets specification.
  • Use Warp to ship UI nits, bugs, and modifications to production.
  • Test designs with our internal team and developer community.
  • Drive the product forward. You will be expected to operate as a product thinker as much as a designer.

You may be a good fit if...

  • You have 3+ years of experience working on AI, ML, DevTools, Data, or other technical products.
  • You enjoy iterating and perfecting detailed workflows.
  • You have a lived understanding of developers’ needs and want to improve their relationships with their tools.
  • You’re committed to building and facilitating relationships with non-designers to execute on your shared vision of building the best product for our users.
  • You have great communication skills, and have experience working with engineers on a technical product.
  • You have experience contributing to or managing design systems.
  • Bonus:
    • Familiarity with the developer experience.
    • Some basic experience with coding or using a terminal.
    • Experience at a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Experience designing for AI tools.

Warp is an ultra-fast, GPU-accelerated terminal reimagined as an 'Agentic Development Environment.' Built in Rust for maximum speed, it replaces the clunky, rigid command prompt of the past with a highly modern, IDE-like interface. What truly sets it apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence directly into the command line. It allows developers to deploy highly capable AI agents that can understand massive codebases, write features, debug server errors, and execute complex workflows without ever having to switch back and forth between the terminal and a browser.

Safety First
