As Product Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery and development of Biffa’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This is a varied, hands-on role combining 5+ years of Agile delivery and Scrum leadership with structured project management, from leading sprint ceremonies and backlog delivery to managing platform upgrades, major enhancements, integrations, and M&A-driven change. You’ll be equally comfortable leading a stand-up, unblocking a delivery team, and managing a complex project through to successful delivery.

Your core responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day Agile delivery of the Product team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the Azure DevOps backlog and sprint boards, ensuring accurate work items, priorities, and delivery data while tracking key sprint metrics and team performance.
  • Act as a leader, removing blockers, managing dependencies, and coordinating internal teams, external resources, and third-party delivery partners.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of major platform changes, including upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and migrations, alongside ongoing BAU/product delivery.
  • Apply strong project management discipline, maintaining delivery plans, RAID logs, resource plans, budgets, and governance reporting.
  • Coordinate key delivery activities including testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation support.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape and sequence roadmap priorities, balancing team capacity across BAU, enhancements, and major projects.
  • Act as a key delivery contact for business and IT stakeholders, providing clear reporting, managing risks and expectations, and leading communications for major releases and changes.

Our essential requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or IT Delivery Manager, leading cross-functional teams and Agile ceremonies.
  • Strong experience delivering projects end-to-end, including planning, risks/issues, budgets, governance, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira for backlog, sprint, and work-item management.
  • Experience delivering change across enterprise applications/platforms such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle, with a good understanding of associated business processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work across delivery teams and senior business/IT stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a Product Operating Model and comfortable flexing between Agile and traditional project delivery approaches.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on problem solver, able to remove blockers, manage competing priorities, and bring structure to ambiguity.
  • A collaborative leader with a continuous improvement mindset, able to challenge existing ways of working and drive better delivery outcomes.

Biffa is a premier, enterprise-grade sustainable waste management and circular-economy powerhouse engineered to orchestrate massive-scale collection, recycling, and recovery ecosystems. Operating as the UK’s leading integrated waste-solutions hub, the company eliminates the operational friction of traditional, legacy disposal models—which frequently suffer from fragmented supply-chains, high landfill-dependency, and opaque carbon-reporting—by seamlessly deploying advanced material-processing telemetry, rigorous anaerobic-digestion and energy-recovery architectures, and cohesive cross-sector sustainability frameworks. Moving beyond rigid legacy "haul-away" paradigms, Biffa empowers thousands of local authorities, SMEs, and blue-chip enterprises to dynamically synchronize their waste-reduction, resource-recovery, and net-zero-compliance pipelines with elite, scalable, and audit-ready execution. Under the hood, their sophisticated proprietary operational infrastructure—supporting 95% of UK postcodes across 200+ sites—natively manages complex multi-stream waste ingestion, instantaneous sorting-facility routing, and automated renewable-energy generation workflows, providing the necessary operational foundation to drive the UK’s transition to a circular economy. What sets Biffa apart is its uncompromising dedication to frictionless resource-orchestration; by bridging the gap between highly technical, performance-intensive environmental-compliance demands and accessible, high-velocity digital-service experiences, the firm empowers modern organizations to radically accelerate their sustainability-velocity, eliminate systemic environmental-bottlenecks, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial and institutional dominance in the modern, AI-transformed industrial landscape.
