Procurement Specialist

What You'll Do

You will manage end-to-end procurement requests, including:

• Sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, vendor comparisons, and purchase order creation;
• Supporting commercial negotiations on pricing, terms, and renewal conditions alongside category owners;
• Building and maintaining relationships with vendors across categories such as software, professional services, facilities, and marketing;
• Partnering with Finance, Legal, and IT to gather requirements and align on specifications;
• Preparing purchase summaries, business cases, and vendor comparisons to support procurement decisions;
• Tracking contract renewal dates, spend against budget, and supplier performance;
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting supplier consolidation initiatives;
• Maintaining the vendor and contract register, ensuring compliance with internal policy and outsourcing requirements;
• Monitoring procurement KPIs and preparing reporting for management.

What You Need To Have

To excel in this role, you must have:

• 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or a similar commercial role, ideally within an international organisation;
• Working knowledge of contract terms, commercial negotiation, and vendor risk assessment;
• Experience running RFPs/RFQs and comparing vendor proposals;
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with spend data, budgets, and reporting;
• Good stakeholder management skills, able to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and business teams;
• Well-organized, able to manage multiple requests and priorities independently;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Fluency in English.

Bonus Points

Experience with:

• Procurement or P2P platforms (e.g., Zip, Omnea, Pivot);
• A fast-growing technology or financial services company;
• Familiarity with outsourcing registers or third-party risk frameworks in a regulated financial environment.
