The Role
We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own paid acquisition across Google, Meta, and other programmatic channels. You'll be the person who knows exactly where every dollar of budget is going and why. You’ll be running the day-to-day of our paid programs, digging into the numbers, and constantly finding the next lever to pull for efficiency and growth.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for someone who loves being in the platforms as much as they love the spreadsheet next to them. You'll be directly working on the top company priority of driving new customer growth for our core products.
What You'll Do
Own the paid program execution, end to end
- Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Demand Gen, Mobile UAC), Meta, and other programmatic/paid social channels
- Optimize daily budget allocation across channels and campaigns, and make the case for shifting spend based on performance
- Set up and maintain tracking, UTMs, and conversion measurement so every dollar can be tied back to a result
- Build your own AI workflows to streamline operations and provide deeper insights, faster
Live in the numbers
- Monitor campaign performance daily against targets (CAC, ROAS, CPA, signups) and report on results on a recurring cadence
- Analyze trends, spot what's working and what isn't, and turn that into a clear optimization plan (bid adjustments, audience changes, budget shifts, creative swaps)
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that give stakeholders visibility into program performance
Test and optimize relentlessly
- Run a structured testing agenda across audiences, creative, bidding strategies, and landing pages
- Partner with design and creative to brief, launch, and iterate on ad creative at scale
- Proactively flag underperforming areas of the program and bring a plan to fix them
Partner cross-functionally
- Work with Strategy & Analytics to make sure tracking, attribution, and reporting are accurate and trusted
- Collaborate with design and lifecycle partners to keep paid creative and messaging aligned with the broader marketing calendar
- Communicate campaign performance and budget decisions clearly to stakeholders outside of paid media
Must Have
- 3+ years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, with exposure to other programmatic channels
- A track record of owning budget allocation and pacing, and making data-backed calls on where to shift spend
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable in spreadsheets, pulling your own reports, and translating data into a clear next step
- Familiarity with using AI to build custom analyses and workflows
- Sharp attention to detail across campaign setup, tracking, budgets, and reporting; you catch the small errors before they become expensive ones
- Experience with campaign and conversion tracking fundamentals (UTMs, pixels, conversion APIs, GA4 or similar)
- A self-starter mentality: comfortable driving a testing roadmap and daily campaign management with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain performance and recommendations to non-paid-media stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, analytics, and growth teams
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, startup, or another high-growth environment
- Familiarity with additional programmatic/DSP platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk) or paid social beyond Meta (TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit)
- Experience with Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools for building performance dashboards
