Pitch is looking for a marketer who can identify and build relationships with external partners that own relevant audiences, then tap into those spaces with persuasive and engaging co-marketing campaigns, creative collaborations, and paid engagements. This includes integration partners, media sites, industry communities, newsletters, or market thought leaders. It involves negotiating an arrangement via partnership or paid deal, then co-creating content and campaigns that grow awareness of Pitch.
What you’ll do
- Drive marketing with external collaborators, including technology partners, communities, and media properties
- Set up and run co-marketing campaigns, joint webinars, co-branded content, integration launches, from start to finish
- Source paid placements with high-performing newsletters, market thought leaders, media sites, and private communities
- Submit and manage marketplace and directory listings to keep them fresh and high-converting
- Have opinions on which opportunities could best support growth, and experiment and report on the most efficient engagements
- Choose when it makes sense to favor each engagement type, on the spectrum from co-marketing to paid placement
- Coordinate partner contributions on co-marketing opportunities, whether on social posts, interviews, or campaigns
- Support the team with brand campaign moments and product launches as needed
Requirements
- You are a personable and professional product marketer adept at relationship management, who will represent Pitch well externally
- You are self-driven and energized by the prospect of reaching new relevant audiences and spaces
- You are able to excite and inspire audiences when pitching the vision of co-marketing or partnership projects to get full buy-in
- You are ready to dive in and create a playbook from scratch, experiment with different partners, and report on what works
- You have experience with setting up co-marketing opportunities and organizing paid sponsorships at a fast-moving company
- You are a creative with the taste and copywriting skills needed to craft campaigns, draft messaging, and help shape content submitted by external partners
- You’re diplomatic and cost-conscious when discussing the terms of any collaboration
