Operations Roles at Kota

Operations at Kota is always open to exceptional people who can support benefits operations, insurer and broker partnerships, finance, compliance, people, and business operations.

The roles are based in Dublin, London, or can be remote, depending on the specific position.

Some roles are currently live, while others will open soon. Kota is building a pool of talented individuals to fill critical gaps as the company grows.

Kota is a regulated, multi-country business with around 100 people. Many tasks don’t yet have clear ownership, and the most successful candidates will identify gaps and resolve them proactively rather than waiting for defined responsibilities.

Who this is for:

• Benefits operations: Responsibilities include scheme setup, renewals, policy events, and managing insurer relationships. Ownership of cases to resolution is key, with a focus on accuracy that impacts real people.

• Customer support: Requires investigative skills and the ability to communicate bad news clearly and directly without relying on process language.

• Insurer and broker partnerships: Focuses on building supply-side relationships, including new carriers, new markets, and fostering relationships that enable product development rather than just sales.

• Finance: Involves building financial models rather than maintaining them, with experience in non-standard SaaS businesses.

• Compliance, risk, and legal: Requires expertise in regulated, multi-country environments where efficiency and compliance are prioritized over slowing processes.

• People and talent: Ideal for those who have built a function from the ground up rather than inherited an existing one.

• Business operations, strategy, and chief of staff roles: Focuses on making the entire organization run smoothly, with an emphasis on being the first to notice and address issues.
