Nurse Practitioner (Weight Management)

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners with strong generalist experience and a passion for weight management to join our growing team of healthcare providers. This role requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

You must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada. We'll give preference to NPs with multiple licenses or licenses that meet our current needs.

Who you are:

• Felix is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada, preferably with cross-jurisdictional licensure.

• You are available to provide a minimum of 40 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.

• You have 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience, with demonstrated experience of providing patients with the best possible care.

• You have direct experience with treating and managing obesity.

• You are physically located in Canada, with a billing number in the province(s) that you are licensed, required for ordering laboratory testing.

• You are a member in good standing of the College(s) where you hold the title of Nurse Practitioner, maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.

• You maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.

• You have experience in telemedicine. Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care are assets.

• You have a proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.

• You are adaptable and open to change.

Compensation

• Base weekly rate, with additional assessment remuneration tied to services delivered above a defined threshold.
