Reporting to our Head of News, the news writers will play a critical role as a 24/7 nerve center for the newsroom.

• We are after people with a “see it, write it” mentality who have a personal passion for news and a fast-twitch set of journalistic reflexes.
• This is a job for the news junkies who “monitor the situation” for fun and want to do it for a living.
• We operate at one cadence - do it right now - and are after people who marry a love of news with the thrill of being busy.

• Real-time news surveillance
• Quick-turn writing of spot news stories
• Monitoring developments on key stories and flagging them to experts
