SKELAR is a venture builder — a company that builds companies. With us, founders create consumer businesses that become leaders in global markets such as EdTech, Mental Health, Petcare, FashionTech, and others.

Skelarians build tech products that win awards from Product Hunt, The Webby Awards, and receive thousands of positive reviews on TrustPilot. In total, the tech products of our businesses are used by 10+ million people worldwide. All thanks to strong teams, as our specialists are the key value of SKELAR.

We have created an environment with expertise and unlimited opportunities — and we are looking for those who crave challenges.

Currently, we are looking for a Motion Designer in New Venture.

In the world, over 1.8 billion people are learning foreign languages, but less than 10% can speak them fluently. We are starting to build an environment of interactive communication — an AI Language Tutor — to speak and make mistakes without fear of judgment.

Our goal is to build a product that learns with the user — collects data about them, personalizes the approach, and motivates them to take new steps. We do not believe in universal approaches to learning, but we know that algorithms will help the user learn in their own way. And (finally) effectively.

This product still needs to be built. So if building something from scratch is your thing, let's do it together?

About the role: You will be the person who turns ideas into motion. At the stage from 0 to 1, our main growth channel is performance video, and it is your creatives that will stop the scroll and bring the first users. We are looking for a motion designer who thinks not only in beautiful animation but also in metrics: understands that creativity exists not for aesthetics but for CTR and conversion. You will personally lay the foundation for a video content production system that will allow us to quickly test dozens of hypotheses and scale what works.

What you will do:

  • Production of performance creatives: creating motion videos for advertising (with a focus on Meta) — interface animations, dynamic videos, kinetic typography.
  • Working with scripts: implementing detailed specifications and scripts from the Creative Marketing Manager — from hook to CTA.
  • Fast iteration: close collaboration with UA and Creative teams, analyzing the effectiveness of creatives (CTR, CR) and quickly refining based on data.
  • Building a system: creating a library of templates, presets, and assets that will allow producing many variations without losing speed or quality.

What we expect from you:

  • Experience: 2+ years in motion design for digital products (Middle level), with a strong portfolio of performance creatives.
  • Technical expertise: proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro); understanding of the full video production cycle — from storyboard to final render.
  • AI tools: practical experience with AI tools for video and graphic generation (Runway, Kling, Midjourney, Sora, Seedance, etc.) to accelerate production and create variations.
  • Performance approach: deep understanding of the structure of advertising video (hook, main part, CTA) and how animation affects attention retention and conversion.
  • Speed: you can produce volume and variety — dozens of iterations for hypothesis testing, not one perfect video per month.
  • Startup Mindset: you are not afraid of the lack of ready-made brand books and processes — you build them yourself and take responsibility for the visual result.

Will be a big plus:

  • Experience creating creatives for mobile applications (especially with a subscription model).
  • Understanding the specifics of EdTech or AI products.
  • English language: B1+ level or higher (for working with references and competitor analysis).

At SKELAR, we have built an environment for professional self-realization:

  • SKELAR Platform. This is the operational core of the venture builder, helping founders move faster from zero to one. Thus, business teams focus on the product — and 10+ teams within Platform cover functions such as Legal, Finance, HR, Admin, Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, IT, and others.
  • Networking and knowledge sharing as part of the culture. Among our colleagues are co-founders who have launched more than one business, as well as the strongest specialists in the market. So we have access to the necessary expertise at arm's length.
  • Exclusive domain education. We have created our own training programs for teammates to choose from — from a 2-month school for beginner managers to intensives on AI and professional clubs for development, product management, etc.
  • Impact on systemic aid to Ukraine. We have a charitable foundation, SKELAR Foundation, created by Skelarians themselves — and thanks to every employee, we implement important social projects. For example, we founded the first accelerator for veterans in Europe and are forming a platform for supporting veterans at the state level.
  • Ecosystem for productive work. For Skelarians, spaces are created that inspire results — with our own gym, climbing wall, green zones Bali, and libraries. In spaces where service, safety, and comfort are synchronized with the pace of team growth, we get a wow experience and work more efficiently.

We will tell you more at our introductory meeting.

We invite you to build the next big everything at SKELAR together!

Skelar is a prominent Ukrainian venture builder that creates and scales international technology companies from the ground up. Founded in 2014, the firm operates at the intersection of venture capital and hands-on product development by assembling high-performing teams to launch businesses targeted at global markets. Under the hood, Skelar provides a comprehensive operational ecosystem for its portfolio companies—which span across EdTech, SaaS, and consumer marketplaces (including brands like Howly, Brighterly, and DoggyPlan). They equip their startups with deep, centralized expertise in performance marketing, complex data analytics, recruitment, and legal architecture. Their primary target audience includes driven tech founders and global consumers who utilize their diverse digital platforms. What sets Skelar apart from traditional venture capital firms is its active co-founder methodology; rather than simply deploying capital, the organization embeds itself into the day-to-day building process, fostering a fast-paced, data-driven culture that consistently accelerates early-stage concepts into scalable, high-growth international enterprises.
