Job Description

About Infinity Constellation: Infinity Constellation operates on a unique model where a small team, led by a credentialed practitioner and supported by an AI-driven backbone, handles tasks traditionally requiring dozens of employees. The company builds independent, high-margin business units, each centered around one or two core practitioners, with Infinity’s technology platform managing HR, accounting, finance, and data processing.

The Pension and Retirement Plan Actuarial practice is one of Infinity’s founding verticals.

About the Practice

This role involves actuarial work for pension and retirement plans, including funding valuations, accounting disclosures, and regulatory reporting. The market spans from large, integrated providers to boutique firms generating $10-30M annually. Typically, non-credentialed analysts perform much of the analytical labor using proprietary or third-party software, with the actuary providing final sign-off. Infinity’s AI backbone aims to automate this analytical labor.

The work is regulatory and recurring, requiring annual valuations and filings regardless of economic conditions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the business unit: Oversee the Pension & Retirement Plan Actuarial business unit end-to-end, including strategy, client relationships, quality, and financial performance.

  • Provide actuarial sign-off: Serve as the credentialed actuary of record, with authority to sign off on funding valuations and related work.

  • Originate and grow the client base: Bring a portable book of business or quickly build one using your credibility and relationships.

  • Define the offering: Decide the scope of services, ranging from purely actuarial consulting to a bundled model similar to larger competitors.

  • Decide what moves first: Identify which parts of the work (e.g., data preparation, funding and accounting reports, form completion) should transition to AI-driven workflows.

  • Validate the calculation engine: Collaborate with Infinity’s engineering team to validate the approach to calculations. Initially, run existing third-party actuarial software in parallel with Infinity’s alternative, ensuring outputs match before retiring the third-party tool.

  • Build the team: Hire and develop analysts and supporting staff as the client base grows, maintaining a lean team structure.

  • Collaborate across Infinity: Partner with other business unit leaders to cross-sell services to shared clients as Infinity’s portfolio expands.

What We're Looking For

  • Credential: An Enrolled Actuary, or an actuarial team lead with the necessary credentials to sign funding valuations.

  • Pension and retirement plan experience: Deep expertise in funding valuations, accounting disclosures, and regulatory reporting for employer-sponsored plans.

  • A portable book of business: Existing client relationships that will follow you, or the ability to quickly build a client base.

  • Senior practitioner or already independent: Either a senior non-partner deeply involved in delivering the service and ready to build a practice with significant upside, or a practitioner who has already gone independent and wants to leverage Infinity’s resources to handle more work.

  • A point of view on automation: Insights into where AI-driven workflows can replace analyst labor and how to validate the results.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Motivated by rebuilding the firm itself rather than developing software for existing firms.

  • Location: Based in the United States. Infinity’s business units currently serve US clients only.

View Company Profile

Infinity Constellation is the world's first AI-native holding company (HoldCo) built to disrupt the $9 trillion traditional professional services market. Founded in 2022 and spun out of Invisible Technologies—an industry leader in AI data training that powers 80% of top large language models (LLMs)—the firm officially emerged from stealth in May 2025 with $17M in Series B funding. Operating under a unique model that combines the rapid scale of a venture studio with the discipline of a traditional HoldCo, Infinity Constellation provides exceptional founders with shared capital, proprietary AI infrastructure, and a proven playbook to launch highly profitable, product-driven companies from day zero. Upon its public launch, the company simultaneously unveiled a portfolio of eight specialized startups—including Supernal, Everest, and Labrynth—tackling complex legacy workflows such as regulatory compliance, executive recruiting, and back-office fintech operations. What sets Infinity Constellation apart is its mission to eliminate the massive burn rates of traditional venture capital, instead empowering seasoned operators to build lean, revenue-first "AI Process Platforms" that fundamentally redefine how global enterprise services are delivered.
