Role Summary

Sprinter Health is seeking a temporary Logistics Coordinator to provide after-hours and weekend coverage for our travel operations. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for time-sensitive travel and logistics needs that arise outside of standard business hours.

The ideal candidate is highly responsive, organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable making decisions independently using established processes and escalation pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor designated communication channels during assigned after-hours and weekend shifts and respond promptly to urgent travel and logistics needs
  • Support Sprinters with time-sensitive travel issues, including flight disruptions, hotel concerns, transportation changes, and other unexpected travel needs
  • Coordinate and make necessary changes to existing travel arrangements using established company guidelines
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify practical solutions that minimize operational disruption and unnecessary travel costs
  • Determine when an issue can be resolved independently versus when it requires escalation
  • Escalate urgent or high-impact issues to the appropriate on-call team member or leader
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Sprinters and internal stakeholders throughout issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, decisions, travel changes, and associated costs
  • Provide clear handoffs to the weekday Logistics team for unresolved issues or items requiring follow-up
  • Follow established travel policies, SOPs, and escalation procedures

Typical Issues You May Support

  • Flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections
  • Last-minute hotel changes or accommodation issues
  • Rental car or ground transportation problems
  • Unexpected changes to a Sprinter's travel assignment
  • Urgent travel booking or rebooking needs
  • Questions from traveling Sprinters requiring immediate assistance
  • Situations requiring escalation due to cost, safety, or operational impact

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented when handling time-sensitive issues
  • Strong judgment and ability to independently triage requests
  • High level of reliability and responsiveness during scheduled coverage
  • Comfort working independently with limited real-time supervision
  • Ability to follow established policies while using good judgment when unexpected situations arise
  • Comfort working across multiple systems and communication channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in travel coordination, logistics, operations, dispatch, field support, customer support, or a similar role
  • Experience supporting employees or teams who travel frequently
  • Experience handling urgent or after-hours operational issues
  • Familiarity with Slack and travel booking platforms

Schedule

This is a temporary position focused specifically on coverage outside of standard business hours.

Coverage may include:

  • Weekday evenings
  • Weekends
  • Select holidays, as needed

Specific coverage hours and scheduling expectations will be established in advance.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Urgent travel issues receive timely responses and resolution
  • Sprinters know where to go for support when issues arise outside of business hours
  • Travel disruptions have minimal impact on scheduled operations
  • Issues are escalated appropriately without unnecessary escalation
  • Travel changes balance the needs of the Sprinter, the business, and cost
  • Weekday teams receive clear, accurate handoffs with minimal cleanup required

View Company Profile

Sprinter Health is a premier, enterprise-grade mobile diagnostics and tech-enabled in-home healthcare platform engineered to bridge the last-mile gap in preventive care delivery. Operating at the intersection of logistics, clinical operations, and digital health, the company eliminates the operational friction of traditional outpatient diagnostic visits—which frequently suffer from high patient non-adherence, fragmented lab routing, and persistent care gap backlogs—by deploying an on-demand workforce of phlebotomists and community health personnel directly to patients' homes. Moving beyond fragmented home-health service providers, Sprinter Health integrates intelligent dispatch routing, real-time diagnostic sample collection, and virtual care team coordination into a unified, scalable clinical pipeline with elite, audit-ready precision. Under the hood, its proprietary operational infrastructure—bolstered by automated appointment scheduling algorithms, HIPAA-compliant patient communication layers, and seamless EHR data ingestion—natively handles high-volume diagnostic lab sampling, vital sign monitoring, and care-gap closure reporting for health plans, risk-bearing health systems, and diagnostic providers. What sets Sprinter Health apart is its uncompromising dedication to frictionless last-mile healthcare logistics; by bringing diagnostic infrastructure straight to the living room, the platform enables healthcare organizations to drastically elevate patient engagement, accelerate early intervention, and establish an unassailable benchmark for hybrid health delivery.
