AppLovin is seeking an International Tax Manager to support their growing global tax function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and enjoys partnering across finance and accounting teams.
The tax team is highly collaborative and impactful. You’ll play a visible, hands-on role in global tax provision and compliance, tax planning and strategy, and supporting the use of technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. This is a full-time, remote role within the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare U.S. international tax workpapers, including GILTI, FDII, FTC, and BEAT
- Work on foreign tax provision and Pillar 2 workpapers, coordinating compliance with external providers
- Manage the global tax compliance process, reviewing foreign statutory financials and foreign income tax returns alongside external providers
- Support international tax planning projects, including building tax models for cross-border transactions, entity structuring, and new business initiatives
- Collaborate across tax, accounting, finance, and other business stakeholders to gather and analyze information for accuracy
- Monitor U.S. and foreign tax legislative developments and communicate potential impacts and recommendations
- Use tax technology and data tools to automate and streamline tax processes
- Support ad hoc projects and special assignments, including tax audit notices
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred
- 6+ years of corporate tax experience with significant focus on U.S. international tax compliance and provision or federal tax matters with international exposure
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
- Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or multinational environment

Candidates with either direct U.S. international tax experience or strong federal tax experience with meaningful international tax exposure are best suited for this role.
