Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative, story-driven, and structurally systematic Instructional Designer to join our global Video Production Unit under a permanent, full-time fully remote engagement framework based anywhere in India. Operating within the centralized Product & Engineering division, you will step up to claim direct narrative, scriptwriting, and pedagogical accountability over constructing highly interactive animated video suites focused on Business Skills and corporate training. Shifting completely away from routine textbook layout formatting, passive administrative data entry, or traditional text proofreading, you will run an active corporate curriculum, multimedia storyboarding, and AI-augmented asset review laboratory—partnering face-to-face with international Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), 2D/3D video animators, and cross-functional product leads. This position requires an educational builder with 3+ years of digital content production experience who organizes training programs fluidly natively using Course Creator blueprints, evaluates cognitive load boundaries cleanly to maximize retention, and directs video asset workflows confidently within fast-paced production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Skills Module Architecture: Analyze enterprise learning objectives and collaborate with global Subject Matter Experts to convert soft skills and business methodologies into structured, practical training content.
• Conversational Scriptwriting Delivery: Author high-quality, professional, yet conversational scripts for animated videos designed specifically to elevate professional knowledge and secure long-term user retention.
• Visual Storyboarding Engineering: Design highly detailed instructional storyboards that guide animation teams, ensuring visual metaphors and motion aesthetics support targeted core competencies cleanly natively utilizing Course Creator principles.
• Multimedia Quality Auditing: Review ongoing video drafts across 2D, 3D, and AI-generated modules to guarantee uncompromised adherence to learning clarity and institutional education standards.
• AI Design Process Experimentation: Test and deploy emerging generative AI utilities and interactive widgets to lift production efficiency thresholds and maximize the educational footprint of media deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Project Sync: Manage asset dependencies closely across product managers, tech leads, and multimedia animators to ensure milestone timelines are satisfied accurately.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a verified equivalent field of study.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional history focused on instructional design, specifically centered around video-based learning, corporate curriculum design, or digital media production.
• Proven background translating dry, technical corporate frameworks (Leadership, Corporate Compliance, Professional Communication) into highly compelling, narrative-driven content.
• Deep structural application of foundational educational theories, including ADDIE frameworks, Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, and Multimedia Cognitive Load Theory.
• Masterful written and verbal English communication strengths, displaying complete ease pitching complex conceptual frameworks to international stakeholders.
• Agility to perform productively within high-throughput production teams utilizing emerging AI media generation tools.
• Application Portfolio Mandate: Candidates must supply a verifiable digital portfolio or structured writing samples highlighting historical scripts, storyboards, or links to completed video assets.
• Location Context: Position features 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified training professionals residing permanently within India.
