The Influencer Marketing Specialist will strengthen the brand’s creator network, focusing on creator retention, repeat partnerships, ambassador engagement, and long-term community growth. The role collaborates closely with the internal marketing team and New Collabs Specialist to transform one-off collaborations into ongoing creator relationships, build a more engaged ambassador community, and increase earned organic reach across the wellness, beauty, and lifestyle creator space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and grow the creator community and ambassador program, prioritizing long-term engagement and retention.
- Convert successful one-off influencer collaborations into repeat partnerships and ongoing creator relationships.
- Serve as the day-to-day relationship lead for existing creators, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and connected to the brand.
- Own creator retention activities, focusing on increasing repeat collaborations, creator engagement, active community participation, and earned organic reach.
- Collaborate with the New Collabs Specialist to ensure seamless handover from new creator outreach to ongoing relationship management.
- Identify high-value creator relationships and recommend strategic investments in time, products, campaigns, or partnership support.
- Maintain regular communication with creators to encourage continued brand advocacy, organic content creation, and long-term partnership opportunities.
- Support ambassador initiatives, creator campaigns, gifting activities, community touchpoints, and retention-focused activations.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed about creator activity, relationship updates, community performance, and partnership opportunities.
- Track creator engagement, repeat collaboration performance, content activity, community growth, and retention-related outcomes.
- Maintain organized creator records, relationship notes, follow-up actions, campaign participation, and community engagement activity.
- Stay informed about creator trends and emerging opportunities within the wellness, beauty, lifestyle, and influencer marketing landscape.
- Collaborate with internal marketing stakeholders to ensure creator relationships align with broader brand, campaign, content, and growth objectives.
- Perform other position-level duties as required.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
- 2–4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, ambassador programs, community management, or a similar role is essential.
- Direct experience building, managing, or improving a creator community, ambassador program, or creator retention program is essential.
- Proven ability to turn one-off creator collaborations into repeat partnerships or long-term brand relationships is essential.
- A strong understanding of influencer marketing, creator relationships, campaign partnerships, gifting, ambassador activity, and organic advocacy is essential.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to make creators feel supported, valued, and genuinely connected to the brand, are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional, and engaging communication style, are essential.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple creator relationships, follow-ups, campaigns, and priorities simultaneously, are essential.
- A good understanding of the wellness, beauty, lifestyle, health, or consumer brand creator landscape is essential.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with internal marketing teams, creator outreach specialists, and wider stakeholders is essential.
- A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work remotely and take accountability for day-to-day priorities and relationship management, is essential.
- Experience using influencer marketing tools such as Trybe, Growi, Modash, HypeAuditor, or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Existing relationships within the Australian wellness, beauty, lifestyle, or health creator space are highly regarded.
- Experience tracking creator retention, repeat collaboration rates, community growth, or influencer campaign performance is desirable.
- A positive, proactive, and relationship-led approach, with a genuine interest in building a strong creator community around the brand, is essential.
